Sherril's Project 365: #5

Today I am god damn crazy. Tomorrow is Friday and I have to hand in my report which is still incomplete. But at the same time, I am quite worried about this Saturday's event - National Mathematics Competition 2010. Mr. Lim just threw us questions that pressured us. *sigh*

Hopefully I will be able to complete my report in time before I doze off and I really hope that tomorrow's rehearsal will turn out fine whereby the computers and servers are functional!!

Dolly Dolls

Once upon a time when we were still kids

We used to mingle around at each others house

I still remember we love to make cards for friends during special occasions

And I love to play with your puppy

Back then we were still so naive and life was simple for us

As we entered high school we started to hang out with different gang

But still our friendship remain unchanged

We were still best of best friends

Did many silly things together

Talked and shared about almost everything

We as teenagers at that time started to talk about our dreams

How we would like to grow up as

How our house should be built and linked together

Where we should study and work

What kind of guy we would like to marry in the future

I thought we would be best friends for life

But too bad we kinda drifted apart after you went overseas

I did not keep in touch enough with you and I regretted that

When you came back somehow our bond was not there anymore

At that time I knew that

We may not be best friends in the future

But in my heart, you were my best childhood friend

And you will always stand a special place in my heart

I will always carry those priceless memories with me till the day I am gone

Sherril's Project 365: #3

IF your name is AH FU...

then how will you spell your name out loud when you are required to do so for erm.. let's say booking for sing k session or when the "banci penduduk" people come to your house to carry out the "population statistic" thing?

So, today there was a couple who came over to my house to carry out this statistical thing. Everyone in the house was asked to give their particulars while the couple jotted down in their papers.. yeah, they are still using papers to record.

Then, it was one of my housemate's turn to be 'interviewed':

The girl: Nama?

Housemate: G.O.H.

The girl: *busy jotting down the surname GOH*

Housemate: L.I.A.N.G.

The girl: *continue writing LIANG*

Housemate: F.U.

The girl: *stopped and looked up*

The guy: *turned back to look at my housemate*

The rest of us: *laughing uncontrollably*

Housemate: *realised he has to repeat in a different manner* erm.. F dan U.

The girl: *finally understood and jotted down FU*

The rest of us: *still laughing*

I know we were bad and should not laugh.. but the F.U. really funny. So next time, when you give names to your child, there are so many things to consider because bad words nowadays are so common lol.

By the way if you still do not get it, F. U. is a short form of "F*CK YOU".

Anyway, if you happen to read this (my dear housemate), please do not hate me. No offence ya!

Sherril's Project 365: #2

Jay Chou, a man who is determined in pursuing his dreams

From a quiet 21-year old guy who was still lack of confidence, after 10 years of hard work, Jay Chou has transformed into a successful, confident man who became one of the prominent singers in the music industry.

Despite those hardships that he encountered all these years, he was determined to achieve his dreams. His success in various fields proved that his efforts and determination were paid off well.

People always like to ask me, "Why do you like Jay Chou? He is not handsome and his songs are not really that nice."

Well, I know he does not have the looks of handsome Wang LeeHom but I like him not because of that. But it's because of the person he is and the music that he created that have accompanied me through these 10 years. Maybe his movies are really not nice, but I still admire him because he really tried his best to achieve what he wanted in life.

Therefore, I must be like him... choose my path and pursue my dreams bravely! There you go, Sherril Leow!

Sherril's Project 365: #1

I have decided to start my own Project 365. In case you still do not know what kind of project is this, do not hesitate to click here.

People start this project is mainly because they want to capture everyday's most memorable moment. But for me, this is not the only reason. I guess through this project, I shall be able let myself see my everyday life in another perspective, trying to find some significance in it.

Haha I say till like very serious huh? Anyway, whether I can finish this project or not is another thing. Hopefully I shall be able to complete it =)

Today is memorable because my parents were here || I started my 1st episode of Project 365 || the 1st time every one in this house went out together for dinner || gossiped with housemates in the living room while cutting these alphabets for National Mathematics Competition 2010 decorations....

Yeehaa!!

Wohoo!! Finally I am free to blog a bit. In super good mood right now. Wheeee~~~

Just sat for my 1st mid term test for this semester - Digital Control Theory. Basically I used only 1 day to study, but overall still ok =) I even went shopping with my sweetie roommate on Saturday. Haha helped her to release stress from working. Seriously, we shopped till drop!

And another good news, for me and as well for my coursemates.... my beloved cousin is back from London and Barcelona!!! Muahaha she brought back souvenirs for us, but the best part is she's back for our 1st mid term =) Without her, we can die >.<

Saw the wrapping with wordings "Whack & Unwrap"? Yea, we are supposed to whack this orange-alike chocolate first before unwrapping it and eat.

So we did what was stated in the instructions and tadaa~~~! Here's the chocolate!!

When we unwrapped it, we could even smell the orange smell. Muahaha... by the way, we did not whack the chocolate la, not so stupid. Actually once we unwrapped it, it was already in 'peeled' shape =)

Insane . Me .

Nowadays, I do not tear so easily anymore. Should I say I have become tougher? Or am I just hiding my emotions, trying not to make matter worse?

Whatever it is, I just know that no matter how well I control my emotions and tears, deep inside myself I am yelling and crying like hell.

Insane, right?

But there are times that you know you should just keep your mouth shut rather than expressing your true feelings. And that was exactly how I felt whenever things like that happened. Shut my mouth up and try very hard to ignore the hard feelings I was feeling and just move on with a bright smile.

Guess I was doing pretty well most of the time because when I put on the smile, I tend to forget the sadness and anger in me. Then things became better and no more doom days.

But somehow today the plan did not work. Guess I was just too hurt and disappointed.

Sigh.

Thank god rationality has taken over my feelings. So now I am back to normal, hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

And I bet it will really be a better day.

Kinda tired now. Maybe I should turn in to bed earlier.

Cameron Trip

Supposedly after my previous final examination I should have followed my ex-housemates to Cameron before I went to Kampar for 2 weeks. However the timing was not right so I ended up going back Penang for 2 days to celebrate my mum's birthday.

During the preparation period for "xia xiang" (筹备营) we planned a trip to Cameron as our last trip together. Therefore after sending our juniors off, we set off to Cameron without making any reservations. Everything was just, spontaneous!'

Took bus from Kampar to Tapah, had lunch and took bus from Tapah to Cameron. The latter journey took us about 3 hours, as it was a "bas berhenti-henti", not an express bus. Whatever it is I do not mind, since this trip was supposed to be a budgeted trip =)




Found a quite nice 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms apartment when we reached the terminal bus.

I would recommend this apartment as it is quite spacious and was able to fit the 10 of us perfectly at a reasonable price. RM360 for 2 nights! Besides that, plates, bowls, pans and cutlery were provided and was even a BBQ pit with BBQ sticks! All we needed to do was to buy ingredients.

And we even had a "gardener"! XD



However bear in mind that once in a while you might be able to see cockroaches passing by you. And yeah, there was this annoying cat which would jump into the house through windows. Somehow it was not scared of human and the worst thing was, it ate Shyuan's Michael (hamster).

Yes, you heard me right. It ate Michael but did not swallow. The bundled dead body was found the next day. So disgusting, isn't it?

But besides this incident, the house is quite nice =)

After resting for a while, we walked out to the shops and explore the area.

As we passed by 4D shop, we decided to buy a number to try out our luck. That was my 1st experience stepping into this kind of shop and bought the 1st number in my life.

During night time, our only entertainment besides playing cards was watching Pink Panther in Cartoon Network. Childish huh? Hehe we are still kids anyway XD

Despite Michael's misfortune, we still had fun the next day with our day tour. Well, we went to only a few places as we just wanted to relax ourselves.

First stop: Rose Garden

There are many kinds of flowers in Rose Garden. And that was where we shot our personalized MV =) Was tagged in Facebook so you guys can check it out. But I guess the song is only familiar to those who joined "xia xiang" before.

Second stop: Strawberry Farm

I tell you, I am a strawberry lover but I hate almost every food and drink with strawberry flavour because they will normally taste like antibiotic. However, the jam, pancakes, strawberry pure juice and strawberry shake in strawberry farm were awesome! They tasted nothing like medicine!!! Haha totally fall in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with them.

Third stop: BOH Tea Plantation

Were brought along to BOH tea factory tour before we ended up in this cafeteria with breathtaking tea plantation view.

Fourth stop: Cactus Valley

Well, that was our final stop for the half day tour. After purchasing some lil cactus as souvenirs, we went for lunch, which was then interrupted with the news that our results were released. Great. Totally spoilt our mood.

When we reached our apartment, some went to sleep, some were texting friends about results, trying to access the intranet for results, playing cards, flying kites and some were even blowing bubbles.

For example, Shu Jun. She was blowing away love bubbles to her darling hehe.

In the evening, we went shopping for groceries for BBQ. That night, it was my 1st experience to wear a jacket while BBQ-ing and yet still shivering with cold. So, can you imagine how cold was it that night??

So, basically that was how my trip went. Everything was fresh to me because the last time I went was when I was still a lil kid with not much memories. Appreciated every moment with them and I hope we still get to meet each other in the future. Take care everyone!!!

Finally

Finally, I have changed my blog to a private blog.

I have come to this decision after discussing with my friends. Guess this shall be the best option for the time being. Though this blog was never meant to be private one as I wish to know more bloggers out there, but still this decision has to be made.

Some may know what happened but some may not. Whatever it is, I hope that by keeping my personal blog private for the time being, those disturbing incidents will not happen again. By the way, everyone, thanks for the support all this while. Really appreciate it.

Gonna constantly update my blog since it is now free from disturbance . Hehe... so till here first! Gotta get back to my FYP stuffs!

Enough is enough!!!

One's patience is limited. Chances have been given to stop all this disgusting nonsense. If it still persists, I am sorry but I have to say, I will take action (bear in mind not only me but my friends as well) in order to stop it. It's harassment and it is very disturbing!

SO, STOP IT!!!!!! And do not try to bother my friends anymore!
