Do you believe in Forever and Ever?

Well, I should not be blogging here, at this time - 9.23pm.

I have to send a report before 10pm to my secretary but I'm too lazy to think of how to write and how my program is going to run.

And 1 more thing, I'm too full right now. Haha just came back from Sri Ananda Bahwan in Little India together with Yee, Vivi and Chris. Seriously, I'm soooo full!!! I don't know how the hell the 3 of them can still proceed with dessert at somewhere I don't know. Good gracious!

It's so good to meet them just now. Haha chatted about life, work, friends, love life etc etc including gossips of course wahaha. They are what I always call true friends, just like my sisters =)

Well, yesterday I attended my relative's wedding. To be precise, it was actually my mum's cousin brother's wedding. So my cousins, aunts and uncles from KL of course came all the way to Penang to attend his wedding dinner.

The dinner was held in a restaurant in Island Plaza. Erm, the food was quite ok and nothing much to comment. Basically the whole event went on well. The couple was happily married and they flew to Bali today for their honeymoon.

Everything happened like in just a few seconds. In the morning, they had the traditional wedding ceremony of drinking tea and giving out ang pau. At night of course was their wedding dinner. After that, well it was their first night. So basically the whole thing happend, just like this. It started so fast, and ended so fast.

It's so easy huh? Haha... not to say envy la but well happy for them of course. I mean, not every couple can get married right? Sometimes I think that those people who agreed to marry are very courageous.

Why I say so? You see, the percentage of divorce is increasing everyday. It seems that, now, divorce is such a common thing in life.

If you know 1 day you'll divorce, why you care to marry?

Of course you'll say, "Nobody knows or expects when to divorce and that is why they got married." Ok, yea that's the point. Noone knows for sure. Unless you have those planned marriage and divorce to get his or her properties. Well, that's a whole different story then.

What I want to say is that, if 1 decides to marry, that means he or she wants to live forever and ever with his or her partner. But, how do you know for sure how long you'll live happily with your partner? 1 year, 3 years, 10 years, 30 years or whole life??

Thank god I have a wonderful complete family. But this does not stop me from thinking of failure in love and marriage. Ok, I know I'm still too young to talk bout marriage but it's still my future right? Unless I plan not to marry. But I don't plan like this. Every girl of course will want to live happily ever after with her dream man and so do I. But the point is, how do you know for sure which guy is your dream man after all?

If you're already in a 4-year relationship, so what? I've seen friends who are in love for years and yet in the end they broke up. Why? Don't ask me. I don't know.

Seems that there's no guarantee in love. The most important thing is that, cherish every moment you have with the one you love now. Who knows, he or she might be your dream guy or girl. If not, then you should not have any regrets because you've done your best in the relationship and you cherished every moment with him or her.

Do you believe in forever and ever?

If you do, it's a good thing because you have found someone good. If not, then let time prove it.

For me, I don't. Because promises that were made were meant to be broken, and I hate broken promises.
