super long post

I think I'm a bit insane. And yea, a bit too rich like I have too much to spend. Anyway, it's near to hols so still ok hehe because I can save more when I go back hometown.

2 days ago.....

Spent the whole morning surfing the net. Somehow I didn't have the "ohm" to on msn. Then around noon time I went into my room and Fern was there, pretending to lie on the bed to rest when she's actually lazy to study her Bio haha.

So I said, "Fern, don't kesi kesi lie there.. faster go study if not you will not be in time." She gave me the I'm-not-pretending look. Fine. So we ended up chatting.. yea girls' talk with Shyuan joining us.

Then we decided to have pizza as lunch. Fern again pretended to be hardworking and took a paper of Bio notes to Pizza Hut.

Well, ok "maybe" not pretending since I was the one who advised her to bring her notes along as it would take some time for our pizza to arrive.

But of course, she couldn't concentrate there. Who can? LOL.. We were talking about silly stuffs when she came out with a theorem which she named it as "Fern Fern's Theorem". Well, the story went like this:

Both of us didn't have the "ohm" to bathe that time so we were actually quite dirty at Pizza Hut (but I still smelled nice, fern nope) So to give herself an excuse not to bathe, she said something very lame:

"Luckily we did not bathe. You see, my hair's oily so it's slippery. Therefore it can reflect the sunlight. Then look at my hands which contain dirt and germs that can't be seen. They can protect myself from UV light and prevent me from getting dark. So in conclusion, if you don't feel like bathing, don't bathe."

I was like WTF?? Macam ini mia theorem she also can think of it. Wahlau eh! All of us gave her the =_=''' look, with triple lines. LOL.. really really sweat. Haha so now you know I have this kind of roommate... always need "ohm" to do stuffs =)

* This "ohm" is not the unit for resistance in electronic circuit. It's just an expression that we like to use =)

Then without any planning, Li Pei suddenly said she wanted to watch "The Tattooist".

I was like, "Har, again a? Yesterday night just watched "The Forbidden Kingdom" wor."

But aiya, since I think I won't have the time to watch this movie within these few weeks, I agreed. So there we go, 3 pretty gals including me, Shyuan and Li Pei set off in 3 striking colours - orange, pink and yellow.

Hahaha.. fern cannot go because she has Bio paper tomorrow.. I know she was tempted to go *evil grin* Never mind fern... we will go sing k and bowling with you. You just need to wait for PA to finish.

After movie we had J. Co doughnuts as dinner. Seriously, I was too rich to spend so much within these two days. Never mind.. once in a while hehe.

Alright here's the synopsis for you people if you haven't watched "The Forbidden Kingdom" and "The Tattooist". I love both movies. Cannot say which I prefer more since they're of different genre. "The Forbidden Kingdom" is an action movie while "The Tattooist" is an 18-PL horror movie.

I would say that this movie is damn cool with lots of suspense. Some disgusting parts are not censored off.
You can see the man cutting off the tattooed part with a parang.
The blood.. the flesh.... *yier* but cool haha.
So spare some time to watch but bear in mind that "The Tattooist" is 18PL. So those who are under age will need to buy dvd hahaha.

Joshua, don't weep while watching this movie at home alone k? Because you're not watching alone. There's someone watching with you, with a tattooing tool beside you...... *evil grin*

Going crazy soon...

GOD DAMN IT!!! LOL... who should I blame for my failure in Maths? Of course it's none other than MYSELF~! No time to regret anymore... just I don't understand why the questions were not difficult yet I couldn't answer. WHY?!! Lack of practices I guess though I understand each and every formulae. And some more I have Maths phobia. That's true and I had this damn phobia since I failed my 1st add maths paper in F4. I'm seriously terrible in maths. Gotta study harder... DAMN. I've failed Maths coursework mark that's why I'm so worried. Kelvin... we're gonna die in this war together haha... well, let's just study for Circuit Theory now and forget bout this damn whole thing.

I felt bad when I called my mum right after I came out from the exam hall. Normally parents will scold their children for doing bad in exams but my parents are the opposite. From young, they have never given me any pressure in studies. I swear, NEVER. All this while it was ME who gave myself pressure to do things to the most perfect point. It was me who gave myself damn a lot of pressure when it comes to exams. I'm a perfectionist, perhaps haha.

Over the phone she was consoling me, "Why give yourself pressure? No need to cry la.. no more scholarship never mind. You have done your best...." I cried even harder haha because I felt guiltier for not excelling more. Haha I'm a crybaby huh?? I know they don't mind I don't do well in exams but I do mind because I know they have high hopes on me. Maybe because I did ok way back in primary and high shool. Anyway that's history. University is another different story and cannot be compared to those days.

I'm not whining here, just felt that I've paid damn a lot to learn this painful lesson. Seems that dealing with 4 subjects is even harder than dealing with 6 subjects (that was last sem) How come? *wondering* Monday will be the 3rd paper - Circuit Theory. I seriously hope that I can do well in this paper because coursework marks has helped me a lot and I want to take revenge for doing so badly in last semester's Basic Electronics. Those who sat for the paper last semester will know why that paper was hard. Hard in the sense that.. there were lots of stupid theories which we ignore most of the time haha. So advice for all of you, don't ever think that theories are not important for subjects that deal with calculations. Who knows, theories might take up 20 - 30% of 100%.

Anyway wanted to share this fantastic song with you all very long time ago. As you can see in my blog, or for those who are using Firefox Beta Version / IE browser you will know that I'm addicted to this song - Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. She's a British singer with an amazingly powerful voice and she's hot. I love her songs.. especially this one. She was invited to American Idol 7 to perform this song. And heaven, she was awesome~!! Wahaha.. Baby Ong and I always like to "keep keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding..." away. We're addicted~!!

What a day ...

Finished my first paper - Dynamics today. No words to describe how was the paper, well what I can say is I've put my best shot in it and I'm glad I can answer that much. I should feel fortunate because about 2 weeks ago, my knowledge of this subject can be said to be 1% only. Serious, only 1%!!
Why leh? Haha... because I don't like this subject, and the lecture for this subject is scheduled once in a week, 3 hours in one shot. I ask you, can u really concentrate every second of the lecture? Even if you can concentrate, do you think you can absorb that much since this is DYNAMICS with all those complicated concepts, formulaes and calculations? Well, I'm not blaming everything on the lecturer, but I think they should really NOT hire PART-TIMER.... we students suffer not only because of the timing, but also our grades. Haha.. but down to root, I should also blame myself for not taking the initiative to study myself. I can say that in these 14 weeks of lectures, I practically day-dreamed, talked, played and slept through the lectures. I've counted, only 2 lectures that I really concentrated for whole 3 hours. Well, that's really bad right? But, what to do? I'm lazy. So what I can say about this paper is, it's not difficult if you study. Luckily some tutorial questions came out, so thanks to those who gave me the tips =) Anyway.. 3 more subjects to go! The next one - Maths will be on Saturday. Add oil!!!

Shyuan's hamster - Dua Jiak just died. Not sure what happened but suddenly it was so weak and was leaning on her palms when she took it out. Normally it would be damn active when she take it out.. I'm totally puzzled. 2 nights ago it was still sooo damn active, exercising like hell on the roller. I was still awake that time because I was doing revision and was asking myself, "Why it becomes so active suddenly???" Because it seems that it had not exercise much lately and suddenly it was soo active these few nights. Well Kuak said animals know when they will die, they can foresee their death. Is that true? Is it why it started exercising a lot the last few nights?

Wanted to ask Kuak to fetch us to the vet just now. But we know that vet shops are not opened at night. Before I went for dinner, I looked at it for the last time. It was so weak.. and I was saying to Shyuan, "Do you think it can tahan till tomorrow? Because we can only take it to the vet tomorrow morning..." All of us was worried about it, yet we couldn't do a single thing to help it. It was a pitiful sight to see it sooo weak. I even asked Shyuan to test its hearbeat and we found out that it was slow and weak. At least she was with it for the last moments... at least it didn't die in a bloody sight. When I'm writing this, I'm recalling my Sei Jiak's death 3 months ago (13th of Jan). It was a bloody sight and no one knew for sure what had bitten it or what happened to it. All I know was it was covered with blood when I looked at it in the morning. It must have been a stormy night for it. Sorry Sei Jiak for not being with you for the last moments.. I miss you..

I don't know how to console Shyuan. She should feel sadder than me now because Duak Jiak was with her since her last birthday in August 2007. Actually, I bought Dua Bui and Sei Jiak together. I went all the way to Mid Valley's Pets Wonderland to buy since there're not much choices here in Setapak. Me and my housemates shared this gift together. She chose Dua Bui (she was the birthday gal ma =)) so mine was Sei Jiak. They used to live in the same house - the cage I mean. They used to play together, fight together, eat together, sleep together.... and even bathed together. I miss them.. Miss the roller noise when they were exercising on the roller. There're so much memories... Sei Jiak is my second pet after my puppy - Fifi.... (well, not really mine also actually). Baby ong... I know you will miss them too.. You can pray when you come next time. RIP Dua Bui!

Mixed-up post...

This is not even study week for me =( Didn't study much.. but slept a lot! DAMN

Kinda miss online lately. It's so unlike me not to online when I have 24/7 internet access here. Haha... actually I'm controlling myself, because I don't want this internet to distract me from studying. Well, it sure does work because I even switched table. (borrowed fern's table as SK coming over to study) I miss chatting with my pat po friends... and I know me and vivian tan are now in super deep shit. ISH!!!! Vian.. miss u leh~! And I miss my cyber friends, who are always there to chat and cheer me up... LOL wasting time crapping here again.

Trip stuffs is so damn irritating. Cannot concentrate on my studies because my mind tend to wander off to my trip problems. Why no staffs from FES is interested? ARRGHHHHH..... I will find one I will find one~!!!!!!! Chin Hong, I'm sure we can make through what we're in now =) Be positive....

Don't know what should I post.. just feel like dropping by here to wish everyone good luck in their finals. Damn "fan" now... CHIN HONG.... how dare u say u miss my "stupid cheerful face"? Do I look that stupid? Ish.... hehehe I miss your crappiness by the way... but you're not free to crap with me now. Don't know why suddenly I feel like pinching someone's soon-to-be-CHUBBY cheeks. Think positively!

Just came back from my uni's DSA. The answer that I received from the officer was POSITIVE *high 5* but the answer that I got from my ex lecturers from PJ was NEGATIVE *sigh*.... What to do? I'm totally out of idea now. Which lecturer / tutor / lab assistant or any full time UTAR staff wants to go? PLEASE come and find me....
Haha just received a sweet sms from a friend, so it's a sweet beginning for today. Well, I'll need to believe in myself and think positively. Then things will be better. =)

Went for TT Night (now known as Welcome Freshmen Concert) meeting and photo taking yesterday. Realised that Programme Manager is not an easy post at all. *sigh again* LOL who chose me for that post? Wakaka well not grumbling, just that I'm lack of confidence because I think I didn't do well in my society trip. PRESSURE~!!!!! This Sunday need to hand in a drafted proposal for my department. Next Monday going to PJ for TT Night meeting with other committees from other faculties and the officers in-charge. Wednesday has a brief meeting with our own committee. Lalala....... study week, oh my study week, I really need to utilize my time well~!!!! Sherril Leow... no more dilly-dally here and there~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, this Saturday there'll be an event in Sunway Pyramind from morning till night. MMU's Chinese Language Society will be organising a song composing contest on 12th of July in Cyberjaya campus. So they will be doing promotion for this competition at Sunway Pyramid this Saturday. According to them, there will be many games and singers during the promotion period. If you have any interest in composing songs then you are most welcome to join this event and get yourself registered. If you just want to have a look you're too welcome to attend it. Do support ya~!

It's already WEEK 14!

Dilly-dally here and there, and now it's finally the second day of week 14. Final week of classes!
LOL.. by this time we should be studying like hell for finals.
But I'm still here, figuring alternatives and solutions for my trip.
Can't concentrate well on my studies lately.
My mind keep wandering off to my trip problems.
Well.. basically it's not problemS. It is problem.
Just heard from Boon Yew that Taman Negara trip might face the same problem as I do.
Well, hope theirs can be settled.
And I hope ours can be settled too.
Taman Negara committee.. let's add oil together ya~! =)
Anyway, I wish to express my gratitude to those who have helped me a lot in this trip.
They have helped me to find friends and lecturers to join us.

Well, lately my day started off with a gloomy mood.
But my classmates always manage to make me smile and laugh and forget about my problems.

Well, they might not know I'm worried about my trip, but they are really funny.

Sien, tomorrow need to wear formal to uni for Talent Time Night (TT Night) committee photo taking session.
Yea, I was chosen to be the Program Manager for TT Night and Shyuan is the Decoration Manager. (not sure about the name of post.. just know it's something about decoration)
TT Night is part of the orientation program.
Well, wanted to be the Ice-breaking committee but too bad the time clashes with my Taman Negara trip.
Program Manager.. omg, not sure whether I can cope it or not.
This Redang trip is a challenge for me...
I hope I can play my role well in TT Night... PM is quite important. *worried*

Recently I learnt to play a song from Tank - 非你莫属.
Checked the MV in YouTube because I don't really know how to sing the song.
My guitar teacher said that a guitarist must know how to play and sing.
*sigh* With my voice.. how to sing?
Anyway, found that Tank has a nice voice. Why didn't I notice it earlier?

They have now moved out from that particular house.

Who wants to go Redang??!!!!

Was a bit angry just now because some people told me they can't make it to my trip d =(
Well, that's normal reaction right for being angry?
I mean, who wont be angry since it's critical period now.
Week 13 d.. where to find substitutes?
And they didn't inform me earlier.
After my 2nd sms they only replied LOL
But really, was just angry for a second. Well ok maybe for a few seconds hehe
Because I know we are in the wrong too for not informing them earlier that after they've written down their names they must go.
And if they can't make it after writing down their names, they must find substitutes.
I'm not blaming my friends and committee who attended to them for not informing them about this rule.
Well, we can just take this as a lesson.
I'm not blaming anyone.
Not angry anymore.
Just blame myself for not being organised haha.

There was a live band performance today at UTAR canteen by Music Club.
Well not to say they are the best but they are cool.
Haha... always admire that guy who can play all sorts of musical instruments.
He can play keyboard (his best is this I heard), guitar etc.
Not sure about drum since I haven't seen him playing drum before.
And he can also compose and sing!
Heard his masterpieces since I was in foundation.
His self-composed song was very nice (it was a piano piece I think.. couldn't remember well just know it was nice =)
Haha... just now I told my twin.
I said, "Just imagine I'm now the one playing drum. That would be so "yeng" so cool! =) "
Haha... day dreamed too much.
I always want to put my hands on drum.. but mom doesn't allow me to learn.
Maybe she thinks it's boyish and not practical.
Well, I love live bands a lot because they are cool!
That's why I always want to learn keyboard, guitar and drum =)
Anyway.. I have piano base, so keyboard shouldn't be much a problem to me.
Just that it's more to chords rather than notes by notes.
Maybe one day, you would see me standing there playing one of the above instruments in a live band performance.
Who knows, I might be the lead singer in the band!
Wahaha..... really day dreamed too much d.
My housemates sure say it will rain if I sing haha...

Overall I had a relaxing day.
Must start my revision tomorrow.

The term "tomorrow" reminds me about a poem by don't know.
It's a poem that we were FORCED to study in F1 I think.
It's about a candle life.. couldn't recall much =)
