范玮琪 - 一个像夏天,一个像秋天

Hi everyone! How's your revision progress going on? Mine's definitely slow but I'll speed up soon =)

Hmm, most of you should know that I'm a girl who seldom listen to Chinese songs except for Jay's songs of course. At home, 98% of the chinese songs in my TT Player playlist are Jay's songs.

However, lately I came across this song in Kuak's PSP. As stated in my title, it' is:

范玮 - 一个像夏天,一个像秋天

The melody is quite nice, though personally I'm not a fan of hers, I would say some of her songs are nice. Maybe you can google for some of her songs and see whether you like them or not.

Read the lyrics when you listen to this song. Maybe some of you will agree with it because I'm one of them. Here, I would like to dedicate this song to friends of mine whom I treasure a lot =) Especially my bestie babes and TOU, be sure to listen ! ^^

p/s: Sorry to people like Kevin who don't know Chinese. But still, you can listen to it if you want. If not, just ignore it.

-----------------------------------------

--------------------------------------

Sorry people, I know I've always been busy. Those of you who are going to UK soon like Kai Yan and JQ, it's nice meeting you all again =) Hope you all will enjoy life there while not forgetting people like me abondoned in Malaysia ^_^

Gonna go back to books now. By the way, don't ask me to add oil anymore because I'm gaining weight already! If you want, ask me to add water!!!!!

I want to flush out all those stubborn toxins in my body!!!

Complaining again

Finally, all UTARians have entered the most hectic week, STUDY WEEK. Been procrastinating the whole day, but still managed to gather myself to study after dinner.

I wish all of you all the best, and add more oil ya!

******************************************************************

Have you ever encountered the following problem?

You have once been close to someone, a very close friend. Fatefully, you both met and became close friends. You two used to stick together, do everything together, and were always inseparable. However, without any reason, (or maybe time is the reason) somehow the friendship became loose. At first it was because she was busy or you yourself were busy so you guys spent less time together. Then as time passed, it seemed that you guys barely keep in touch. In the end, from very close friends, both of you became strangers, or maybe just friends who do not what to talk to each other anymore. No arguments occurred, no disagreements happened, yet the friendship just faded away.

Did you face this scenario before?

I DID. And I really regretted for letting it fade away just like this. We were once inseparable, but distance, environment and time changed our friendship. I miss her and told myself, I would never let this kind of thing happen again if I met someone like her.

I tried to maintain, I tried to step out the 1st few steps, but it seems that my efforts are in vain. The same situation is happening to me again. Is it my problem? I don't know.

I've always said it's not easy to find someone who can click well with you. Yet when you have found, sometimes, things just turn the other way round huh? Is God giving us a challenge? But why the challenge? Seriously, I just don't get it.

Well, this scenario keep popping up in my head lately. Hope this scenario will fade away too.....

Hmm... end of complaining. Don't wish to complain so much, if not I'll really be like an Aunty like what MQ Clubber call me. ISH.

By the way, if you're overstress over studies, you can consider visiting this blog: Welcome to Mike's World. Read the post about Batwoman: The Dark Knight's Mom. You'll find it interesting, provided that you understand some Hokkien vulgar language. Friends kept urging me to read his blog about that, but I just had the time to read today. Enjoy it!

Gambate everyone~!!!!
Everyone in 拉曼大学第五届社区服务团 (第二团), I miss you guys damn a lot. I've started to love you all more.... Take care!

One match away from GOLD Medal in Beijing Olympics 2008!

Lee Chong Wei 李宗伟 ( MAS ) vs Lee Hyunil 李炫一 ( KOR )

21-18, 13-21, 21-13

*For detailed info regarding the scores, please click here.

Wow, I'm still excited right now, can't wait for Sunday to come. Haha, our Malaysian badminton player, Lee Chong Wei (world rank: 2) has just qualified himself into the FINALS!!! YEAH!!!

The match which started at 6.30pm (according to our local timing), was held in Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium. The match was a pretty close match which kept everyone in suspense.

I purposely went to Sin Peng Ling to have my dinner at that time so that I could watch the match =) And I bet everyone inside the shop was also watching the match, and was reluctant to get up even though most of them actually finished their meals before the match ended.

I guess he was tension during the 2nd game and kept doing unforced errors. But he gained back his form in the 3rd match and won most of the shots nicely =) When he won the shots, everyone in the shop was like, "Yes!" but when he lost, everyone was like, "Oh....". Everyone was really hoping he could win and he did!

He will meet Lin Dan 林丹 (CHINA) in the finals. He is the hope for us to win a medal, better still a gold medal!! Every Malaysian will support him! The match will be held on 17th Aug (Sunday). Remember to watch ya!

Alright, need to continue with some homework and then need to head to bed to get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow will be a busy and tiring day because Traveler's Den is having a trip to Putrajaya to watch China team competing in Malaysia International Fireworks Competition (MIFC). This is the biggest trip ever with 88 participants.

Alright, adios!!!

FRUSTRATION

I just feel like releasing my frustration here. I know it's a bit contradict to what I've always said about not wanting to portray any hatred here in my blog. But this post is not about hatred. It's simply just about what I felt today...

I'm sick of what had happened. In fact, I'm tired already. Quarrels always happen between us because of some stupid small matters. Yeah at times I'm in the wrong, but hey, I'm NOT ALWAYS in the wrong k?

Most of the times, even when I'm not in the wrong, I'm the 1st one to step in and apologize. For what?? I don't know. I just hope that there won't be so much quarrels in the future. Friends always ask me to just close one eye, just let it be since you're always in such weird mood lately.

BUT WHY AM I ALWAYS THE ONE WHO HAVE TO GIVE IN???!!!!!

Friends say you have your dignity, maybe I've said something that hurt you. Well, maybe I DID hurt you, but I was just telling you the truth. I told you face to face, not in front of everybody. The reason I told you my point of view was because I hope that you realize what people around you may think about you. Yet, you flared your temper at me, as though I've humiliated you in front of everybody. GOSH!

I also have my dignity, you think I'm not hurt when you said some awful things to me? You said you were just joking about those things, but hey, do you know that I CARE what people say to me? Joking and teasing once in a while is ok, I'm not the small gas type. But a frequent teasing is something that I HATE especially if that person is you!

I'm not being sensitive, but it's an issue about one's patience limits. I always tell myself that you're just joking, don't make a big fuss about it. I'm always the one who think in positive to console myself that you don't mean to hurt me with those words.... Why can't you just accept what I've said in a positive way too??! If you don't like me telling you things like that, then just let me know and I'll just keep my mouth shut and leave you alone. There's no such need to lose your temper, isn't it?

I'm so damn disappointed. Was in such a cheerful mood this morning and now everything is spoiled. Today's a no smile day for me. But I hope you guys have a nice day. I'll do great after some time..... no worries.

To LOVE or NOT TO LOVE

Photobucket

People, including me always tell everyone, "If you LOVE someone, then just go for it. If you really love that person, nothing's going to get in your way."

This, I think is only applicable to fairy tales. In reality, how many people can really love their admirer, their dream girls/boys, boyfriends/girlfriends with all their heart, without having to worry obstacles along their way which bound to happen???

I would say the answer is JUST A FEW.

Friends around me, always meet with obstacles that can't be avoided. For example, family's objection. The bf's mom doesn't like/aprrove the gf. Reason? Studies and family more important. Or maybe some other weird reasons. Yet, they don't want to break up so in order to continue their realationship, they have no choice but to endure themselves into underground relationship.

But, what century is it now?? Moreover they are no longer school kids. They have grown up and are already college/university students. It's sometimes so meaningless to "tou tou mo mo". I pity them, seriously. They suffer a lot and many of the times, the relationship has no good ending. Have you ever been a victim of this kind of saddening relationship??

Another one that I've seen is because of difference of religion. Seriously, this is something that's really... how to say? WASTED.

你明明很爱他,但是却不可以爱。

Firstly, parents will definitely object the realtionship if they're really into their religion. Some youngsters are willing to convert to another religion but as you know, parents DON'T encourage. Some even want them to end the relationship. It should be a happy ending relationship, but because of this reason, they have to be separated.....

How many people really get to love someone who loves them as well???

It's not easy to find someone that you love who loves you in return. The chances are soooo tiny yet when you have found, these problems will step in your way, signalling you to end the relationship.....

Have you ever encountered these kind of problems?? Or anything similar? Friends sometimes tell me about their sad stories, but I can't console them a lot because I myself haven't been into this kind of situation. Any help out there?

Before ending this post, I would like to wish all couples, people who have fallen in love or anyone who has secret admirers all the best. May LOVE be around you all the time. Still the same words: LOVE NEEDS COURAGE

Peace and Love,

Programs that I participated

Finally, I have some time to blog =) Miss blogging so much...Computer was down with viruses previously, now I've fully reformatted it.

How I wish I have the whole day to sort out my stuffs and make some changes to my blog. But I don't have that much time, with several tests coming up, undone piles of tutorials and notes... Don't get me wrong, I'm not 'bangau-ing'. I'm just explaining =)

I realised that, within these few weeks I've actually done and accomplished so many things. Kinda happy actually. Hehe because I don't wish my uni life is just about studying and exams. I want it to be very contented and get to experience lots of stuffs in various aspects.

Well that's me, who loves to accept new challenges=)

Last Sunday I attended a Soft Skill program titled "Taking Responsibility :Take Charge!" by Mr. Rizal. He inspired me a lot and I find the program very useful. I recommend you all to participate if you wish to enhance your personal development. I'm sure you'll like Mr. Rizal like all of us do.

Photobucket

Mr. Rizal and ME!!

Alright maybe you'll ask, what the heck is SOFT SKILL??!! Well some brieft explanations with examples are shown in Wikipedia.

If you wish to improve yourself or enhance your knowledge in fields like:
  • communication skills,
  • interpersonal and personal development
  • professional ethnics and manners
  • entrepreneurial and innovative skills,
  • career development
  • etc etc
Then you should join soft skill programme. If you're a UTAR-ian, check the various programmes available for you by Soft Skill Competency Unit (SSCU). The programme that they offer you in UTAR will be very costly if you join outside. So, grab the chance and join these programmes at a reasonable rate =)

EVERY MOMENT IS A CHOICE & EVERY CHOICE STARTS WITH ME!
~ by Mr. Rizal ~

So make your choice and set your goals clearly. Everyone only have 1 life, and I'm sure all of us will want to life our lives to the fullest. Don't you agree?

Random post

Have you ever felt lucky and happy by just eating something as simple as a piece of small cake?

I realised that, I'm easily satisfied at times and can feel very happy as if I own the whole world eventhough it's just a tiny bit of thing. Haha... I'm insane, isn't it? Yeah I'm insane =)

Secret Recipe's (SR) cakes are my favourites, especially when it comes to their cheese and chocolate flavours. Went to SR at Melati Utama this afternoon... been longing for their cakes and tom yam ages ago. It's been some time since I went SR. Miss the cakes and tom yam. Even now to think back, my mouth's still watering =)

I know you'll say, "FAT la! Eat somemore!!!"

I don't care. Like my friend said, once in a while, rewarding ourselves is a good deed. Yeah I totally agree with that. I'm a chocoholic and cheesaholic, which explains why I have this kind of body shape haha. Anyway, if once in a while I eat and can feel soooooo happy about it, why not?

But seriously, if you always go there for only cakes, then you should also try out their famous award winning tom yam kung. I always go there for it! Muahaha.. one of my favourite dish, though it's kinda expensive =( Never mind.. once in a while.

And I found out something at this MU outlet. The cheese in Gordon Blue is counted quite a lot compared to other outlets. In many of the outlets, you won't see cheese. But in this outlet (maybe still new), you'll see hot creamy cheese sauce flowing out when you cut the meat. I swear, this is the 1st time I see cheese flowing out. *yummy*

Alright enough for Secret Recipe. Later people think that I'm paid to promote their food =_=''

-----------------------------------------------------------

Lately been quite busy. Don't know busy with what lol. Just busy. I'm always busy but don't know why there's still piles of things undone. Really sweat.

Next week I need to hand in 2 lab reports, do 1 presentation and sit for 1 mid-term test which happens to be Statistics. After last sem's Maths nightmare, more or less I have a bit phobia on this subject, though Statistics is much much easier than Maths for Engineering II. Anyway, I think I should be able to cope with it.

And about that presentation, how I wish I don't need to present it. It's not my favourite subject, which I doubt it's anyone's favourite subject. Pengajian Malaysia!!!! Who likes it?? NO ONE. Worse of all, presentation in Malay..... My Malay kns, always stuck here and there. Well, luckily not included in finals if not, die. Because the subject itself is already boring, and I'm sure noone loves to memorise it, noone except our PA lecturers. I'm always wondering, why we need to study this subject, which I think the probability that we will use it in the future will be near 0? No idea at all. To introduce Islam maybe, if you read our History textbook carefully back in high school.

Lost so many things today. Freaking unlucky day. Adrian told me that many of his friends have been yelling unlucky to him. Haha, is it an unlucky week for all of us? Hope I can find my water bottle back. I know it's not made of gold, but at least it was bought by my mom and wasn't very cheap. And for sure not those RM0.99 mineral water bottles. Hope the cleaner doesn't throw it in the dustbin like what Kelvin told me. He said he saw before those nice water bottles being thrown into rubbish bin. What the....??!!! At least make effort give it to the office or put in back to where it was found la. People's money you know....... Anyway, I think I've made a big deal about it which is quite pointless. Forget about it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thomas said: Love hurts, and it's hearbreaking.

Yeah I totally agree. Love at first may seem to be the most wonderful thing in the world. But in the end, it'll end up like shit. I experienced it before, and it sucks when things go wrong.

I pity my bestie sometimes. She's sooo in a love with a guy yet she has no way to express her feelings for him. I've never seen her soo deeply in love before. But this guy has never confess to her. Sometimes, somethings that he did will make you think that he's actually in love with her too. Sometimes, you'll feel that he's just treating her as a friend. She's suffering sometimes, just to guess he likes her or not. If you're her, you'll understand.

So, don't toy around with people's feelings. You'll just make them suffer. Vivi, just shout it out ok? Hehe.. 4 of us will always support you. But we can't afford to go Chilis with you =)

Alright till here. Going dim sum for breakfast at 5.30am later. We're crazy haha. I miss Penang dim sum!!!!!!

Some updates about me

Wow, after refreshing this page for uncountable times, finally, it is loaded successfully. DAMN line, don't know why it's so lag nowadays. Well, forget about it.

I know I've been missing for quite some time here and in msn. Haha so sorry. I was busy with WFC things and society stuffs. Then these few days, I was and am addicted to Hong Kong series - Forensic Heroes II and PSP game - tennis.

Well, talking about Forensic Heroes... I AM SO JEALOUS OF THEM!!!!!

Haha, how I wish I can be like them! It's my dream to be in forensic science field. I love to look for evidence to solve a mystery and seek the truth to help the innocents. Dealing with those super hi-end machines must be very FUN!!!! Cool cool cool..... *dreaming*

It has been a quite happy day for me because had a nice dinner with my housemates. It's not matter of food, but it's nice because all of us (excluding Shen Chie) finally had the time to gather together to gossip, exchange news, chit-chat about just anything and crack jokes together. The moments are soooo precious, because we rarely have the correct timing to gather together though we stay in the same house.

I would say that it's so lucky of me to be able to stay in the same house with them. Once in a while there might be misunderstanding and bei-syok-ness among us, but that will just last for a few minutes. One thing is for sure, I LOVE THEM!

******************************************

Attended Traveler's Den's AGM this afternoon. The number of students who showed up in the AGM is quite of out of expectation. Because normally people will not attend it unless you are the previous committee. So well done, everyone! And thanks for attending it my fellows members!

Hmmm.. thought that I can relax more after WFC and AGM, mana tau now still involve in Traveler's Den. But never mind, Traveler's Den is not like the other societies or clubs... we're different and it's fun to be in here. The previous batch of committee really made a good team. Too bad that some of them are already in final year and cannot hold anymore posts in societies... will miss them! By the way, congrats to those who were chosen to be in the committee. For those who were not in the previous batch of committee, I hope that we can work well together and make Traveler's Den a legend. Hahaha... "to make Traveler's Den a legend" was what our Da Ge told me long time ago.

Speaking of AGM, if you're a Biological Science Society member, if possible please attend next week's AGM. I'll be going to support my hsemate. She's the current secretary. Vote for her!!!! She's very efficient and capable. By the way, her name is Li Pei =)

This will be a short post because I need to finish off my piles of homework.

Before I end, I would like to dedicate this back to a friend of mine:

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to the understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.....

This kind of people truly exist because I've encountered before. Because of them, there is no more starless night. Instead, they themselves become the stars and moon, who will always shine brightly on you......that is why the sky becomes more beautiful to gaze upon :)

F.E.S.tival - 04.06.08

It's 6th of June.

Happy Birthday my dear Mung Papa!!!

May all your dreams come true... sorry I'm not in Penang again for your birthday but never mind, I just called to wish you right? Miss you!! And again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY~!!!

p/s: Mung papa is not my dad. Just a good friend whom my besties referred him as our papa because he seems like one =)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally with my internet line so lag, I successfully uploaded the pictures that I captured in FEStival. Well, won't say I'm a good photographer but hmm, just to let you know more about the whole event.

Basically, this event can be said to be successful. So congratulations to all committee members~!!

But please, please, please, if you all were to organise another FEStival, please don't state that "All societies MUST involve in the fund-raising program". Because all society committees will surely strangle you to death!!! We SHOULD have the right to choose to or not to participate in this event right? You all SHOULDN'T force us to participate! Anyway, it's over and I guess everyone has had their own fun =)

I didn't really follow the entire program flow because I had to "jaga" my society's booth.

Since I'm here, I would like to take this opportunity to promote my society - Traveler's Den.

If you're someone who likes to travel around to experience new things, learn more about the world outside Setapak and make more friends who has this same passion as yours, then you're most welcome to join Traveler's Den. The advantage of becoming a member is, whenever there is a trip going on, you can join at a member rate. Meaning, you'll get a cheaper price compared to non-member =) Visit our booth now in canteen for recruitment. We'll be there until next Wednesday, 11th June 2008.

in front of board

In front of our booth- we were just doing exhibition for recruitment

Alright, back to the main point. This FEStival has attracted students from different campuses like FICT, FAS, FAM. Of course there are booths selling all sorts of food which include Pearl Milk Tea, Ice Kacang, Pancake, Corn, Toast bread, Spaghetti, Domino's Pizza etc... all prepared by students except for Domino's Pizza. And to add one more thing, their talent in cooking is not bad =) Some booths prepared games like UNO stack, car simulator etc. The purpose of selling food and games is to raise fund for their respective societies.

Photobucket

President of Sports Club, Eric - cooking delicious spaghetti

Photobucket

Tysus - helping out in Biological Science booth with pancakes

The usual programs include singing from various "artistes" whom I would not bad. Thumbs up to most of them. They not only sang, but played guitar, keyboard etc. Some "artistes" were our own students but some were guest performers like Feeling Cafe, rock band J4N, Astro Talent Quest Finalist - Vicky etc.

Photobucket

1st from right is my friend Andrew performing =)

chao yen

Leo aka Chao Yen - he can play violin, "er hu", saxophone etc.. my music center founder

Dancing is of course part of the program flow. Haha talking about dancing, I finally realised that the guy who is the same lecture as me is actually a great dancer and he was the lead dancer. Not sure about his name but I know that he changed my point of view towards him. I have always thought that he's the quiet type, those who are "si si man man". But when I saw him dancing, I was like, "Whoa, not bad huh!" We really cannot judge a person by his/her outlook. LOL.

Then the parts which attracted many guys were the various fashion shows by designers like Karl Ng, XEX, Tropicana Life and etc. Hairdo and makeup were made by Miko etc. I would say that the Program Manager for FEStival is very "geng" because he can find sooo many renowned sponsors and designers for this event. Compared to me... I already lost 100% to him. SWT.

Photobucket

Our FES Fashion Night Champion in white evening dress

For the very first time, UTAR's event is sponsored by sponsors like The Star, Digi, Steven's Corner, Tropicana Life, XEX, Karl Ng etc.... Couldn't remember all of them. Hitz.fm cruisers were even invited to come and students grabbed lots of goodies away.

Photobucket

HOTLINK cruiser

Photobucket

Boon Siew and I with Hitz.fm cruisers

For the very first time I feel that, UTAR's becoming more famous and successful. If you're a UTAR-ian, you'll understand what I'm saying. Not everyone knows about UTAR, but everyone knows about TARC. That's a sad case you know, because UTAR and TARC is just beside each other. Yet, somehow people tend to ignore us though we're actually a university. Some more not those cheap uni k. I wonder why people still don't really know about us. *wondering*

It's not easy to organise such thing actually. You have to be well dedicated like my housemates and those SRC (Student Representative Committee) members. Need lots of time to prepare, find sponsorhip, do publicity, arrange performances and rehearsal for several times. It's really tiring.. and exhausted. But if you're dedicated, you'll enjoy while you're working and will learn many things. I salute them!

Suddenly feel that, I have so much things to learn from them for our upcoming event for freshmen, Welcome Freshmen Concert.

Suddenly, I feel that... we're so far behind. Their event is so grand. Never mind we must be confident!! WFC will be as good as well hehe so please do come and support us at FES Welcome Freshmen Concert on next Friday - 13th June. Thank YOu!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, now let me tell you what happened in my house during the night before FEStival. Everyone was busy preparing for their booth stuffs. Except Shen Chie, who lacked of sleep for many days due to the workloads of FEStival committee.. she slept very early.

Basically, Shyuan and I were busy decorating our parts for our board. She's in charge of the Perak trip, and I of course was in charge of the 3 Islands trip. We started our work late because initially we were helping out our housemates with their pancakes, we were their guinea pigs=) Or in nicer words, we were the testers for their food. Well, we didn't really help out much though, but played a lot instead haha.

Li Pei and Fern were busy mixing ingredients for their pancakes, trying hard to get the right taste. Tysus came over and helped out. He was actually the main chef of the night and for the next day. A big applause for him!! Imagine, a guy who can't cook anything except for maggi mee can actually do such nice pancakes... it's a wonder!!
p/s: Li Pei and Fern are from Biological Science society.

shyuan playing

Told you she played with it. The base of the pancake looks like a glove huh??

shyuan

1st try - NONO.. lack of some taste..

messy

My house in a state of mess...really messy

Now, it's time for showtime! Those who wish to do simple pancakes, you can have a look how's the procedure looks like. The things that you'll need:

1. Flour
2. Baking powder
3. Eggs
4. Margerin
5. Milk
6. Sugar and salt
7. Vanilla essence
*8. Peanut butter or chocolate spread
* For your preference

I'm sorry that I can't provide you with the exact measurement of the ingredients. They followed the recipe but somehow the taste was not enough. So basically the whole process was of trial and error. Sorry folks!

Below are the procedures:

1. Beat the egg yolks evenly by mixing it with milk.

2. Then mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla essence, with milk and egg yolks.
add egg

3. It's now time for salt and sugar.
cooking

4. After mixing thoroughly, the egg whites are added. If it's not watery enough or too saturated, you can add a little bit of water.

5. Tadaa! The mixture should look something like this.
Photobucket

6. Scoop some of the mixture and spread it evenly on the pancake machine. Then close cover and wait for about 5 minutes.
paste spread

7. Your pancake base should be like this.
Photobucket

8. Spread your favourite jam / peanut butter / chocolate spread / butter on the pancake base.
add butter

9. Roll the base into this long cylindrical shape.
nice

10. Place the completed roll(s) into an oven and toast it for about 5 minutes. The the final outcome of the pancake should look like this!
after toasting

Cherish them...

Been away for almost a month huh? Very sorry everyone! I didn't online and didn't have the time to blog during my 3 weeks break because my time was packed with trips to Redang Island, Taman Negara (National Park). And I couldn't online when I went back my hometown, my notebook just couldn't detect my home's wireless.

Then when I came back, I'm busy finding my besties and sisters because they just came down to Setapak to continue their Advance Diploma in TARC. I helped them to move in, had dinner and even overnighted at their place. The rest of the time I spent it in classes, meetings, midnight movies in cinemas, watching Hong Kong series and sleeping. So basically, my time's used up :)

I'll blog about my Redang and Taman Negara trip in the next few blog entires alright? Because I'm still waiting for the arrival of photos. How can I blog a trip without interesting photos??

I'm very free today, though I had class this morning and later I will help my classmates to move house. I suddenly thought of my besties (4 of us), my sisters (whom we call ourselves TOU - Ten of Us), my twin, friends and family. I thought of how we were bonded and ended up getting inseparable...

True friendship is the most marvelous and precious gift that we have in our life besides family, isn't it?

I've been hearing about how those s0-called friends in college backstabbed my friends and used them for their own benefits. I personally feel lucky enough because other than the heart-broken incident which happened to me in foundation, those friends that I meet in degree are NORMAL people. At least they are true in friendship and I even have special bond with some of them.

It's true that many people just come and go in your life. Those are merely passer-bys in your life. However, when it comes to true friends, they won't just come and vanish. They may be far apart from you, they may not keep in touch with you always, but their heart will always have a space for you for every second....

Well, below is a true story which happened to my bestie not long ago:

##
One of my bestie, Mei Fern told me about a close friend of hers in college. Let's just call this particular bitch **Steph.

Many people have told my bestie about the bad things about Steph. Her friends, including all my besties have warned her to keep a distance with Steph. Being the soft-hearted one, my friend forgave Steph for her 1st mistake, 2nd mistake, 3rd mistake until the Nth mistake. She always feels that Steph is not that bad as what people said about her in college and she always forgives her.

Until one day, when my bestie finally fall down, only then she realised how stubborn she was all this while to keep walking although she knew that she should stop walking. Although it's not her fault and Steph kept hurting her, my bestie still forgave Steph and tried her very best to save their frienship.

This bitch is truly a bitch. I've never called a person a bitch before, not even that damn person who left me with sad memories 1 year ago. Steph is too good in acting, and that's why my bestie fell into her trap and forgave her sooo many times.

Because my bestie trusted Steph, she told Steph about her point of view towards**Lily. Well, just point of view, no big deal right? I mean, of course we have our own opinions and we are just voicing them out without wanting to create any unwanted arguments or whatsoever.

Of course Fern knew that Steph and Lily are good friends but because she trusted Steph, only she told her about her opinion. I want to emphasize that, the opinion she gave was just what impression she had about Lily. It wasn't meant to hurt Lily or what. Those who know my bestie well will know she meant that. And I'm sure Steph knew very well what my bestie's opinion was all about.

However, for some unknown reason, this bitch turned my friend's words into some other meaning which created misunderstanding between Lily and Mei Fern. Then somehow this bitch backstabbed my bestie in front of Lily. In the end, my friend realised the true face of Steph and gave up this useless, fake friendship between them.

After the incident, between sobs while talking over the phone with my bestie, Steph even claimed that in her life, she only has 2 close friend. One is Lily and the other one is my bestie. Damn her, do you think a CLOSE friend will ever hurt and backstab you? So fake of her! She must be stupid to think that after so many incidents, my friend will still believe that kind of lame statement.

I told my bestie, "What's the use of maintaining the friendship between you two? She's never real, and has been using you for so many times. And this time she even backstabbed you. You've now come to KL and she isn't coming to KL, so why do you need to care about her anymore? You're not going to meet her anymore, then just make a clear statement to yourself and leave this girl behind your memories. This kind of friend is not worth your tears.. because TRUE friend will NEVER backstab and use you. Just treat her as a passer-by in your life, and don't get involve in her things anymore because if you were to be involved, the pain that you will have to endure will be much more... which is not worthwhile, at all."

I don't want my bestie to endure the pain that I've went through. Sometimes, soft-hearted just won't work. Reality is reality and it's always a pain for us to accept reality. I hate those people who hurt my loved ones.. I wanna whack that stupid bitch!!!!

People often say that in college and university, it is very hard to find true friends. Hmm... how to say? In uni, I have many hi-bye friends. My coursemates are great people, not to say we are very very close, but still, at least I know my coursemates aren't those sort of people who will hurt the others. I'm glad that I met my twin and 3 of us are best friends =) (me, twin and shyuan)

Through MSN, I've met many more UTAR-ians. I'm glad that many of them have become my good friends who are always there for me to share my joy and sadness together. What I would like to say is, treasure those great friends that you have because in life, you won't meet so many great friends, who are completely true in friendship.

Cherish your friends, and cherish the moments that you spent together. Without them, your life won't be as bright as it is now. I love all of you, my friends~!!!

p/s: Names with ** are not their true names. This is to protect their identity and privacy.

Note: I know I've blogged about how bad I did in Maths finals. I swear I wasn't exaggerating when I was blogging. Anyway, just to inform all of you, I passed my Maths!!! =)
