Sherril’s Project 365: #60

day 60

Guess what it is???

SNOWFLAKE!!!!!!!

That is what I am craving for now at 4.50am. Stressed till max and I really need something cooling like Snowflake to lighten my mood.

Tell me, what is your favourite series of snowflake?

Mine’s definitely NOT the bestseller series.

My favourite is their SOYA ICE SERIES Snowflake! Love Love Love SUPER Red heart it! Their Taroballs are damn nice! *yummy yummy*

*thinking about the yummy soya series snowflake*

OK, enough crap. Enough day dreaming.

Back to thesis writing. Just 1 more day to dateline. It’s driving me nuts and I just want it to end soon.

Gambate to me and everyone in their thesis writing!

*dream on with snowflake* Open-mouthed smile

Blog Test via My HTC Desire Z

Me with my pastel-coloured nails.

Yes, I know the combination is ugly. But during my stressful period doing something like this makes my mood lighter. Hehe.

Anyway, just a test-blog-post via my still-considered-new phone :)

Cheers!

Just Feel Like Writing Something Here

Yes, I suddenly have the urge to do so. Write anything will do.

Did not do anything today except watching movie. Episode by episode. Ah, the feeling of having time by myself for the entire day was very precious. Though I have homework that must be passed up on Thursday, I guess I should just leave it aside first and use today to relax myself.

After all, last week I was goddamn busy. Not even had time to really rest. Too preoccupied with jobs.

While I was facebook-ing and blog reading just now, suddenly miss my friends a lot especially those who are in overseas. I wonder, when only I can meet all of them, together?

When? When? When?

Come back la people..... miss you guys alot!

A New Semester for Me

Though as much as I have enjoyed throughout my birthday week with all the celebrations and surprises, I am stressed with work.

I should not be complaining actually because I accepted this part time job offer willingly. Or more precisely, I myself went to apply for the job lol.

Not a tough one actually, writing script only ma. Some more it's for teaching primary school kids.

LOL that was my 1st thought. I really thought it should not be a problem because English is not a problem for me.

Mana tau... cracking my brains for the right words to use so that the kids will understand is actually a tough task for me T________T

My motivation to keep going is to polish my writing skills and grammar knowledge. And most importantly is the pay. Not high but at least got side income.

Will be taking a subject in this short semester for 7 weeks. This will be my 1st and last time taking short semester in my degree course.

But I still plan to work part time, wanna earn a lot a lot a lot of money. Plus I still need to continue my damn FYP.

Gonna be a busy semester for me, and a contented one as well XD

Sherril's Project 365 (5 massive updates Part 1)

One of my love

When I was young, my parents signed me up for various types of classes. I attended art classes, piano classes, swimming classes, tennis lessons etc. I was considered very very lucky because I got to learn many things besides going to school, and was pretty good in some of them.

But sometimes I was bad enough to waste my parents effort. You know as a kid, or even now that I am already 22 years old, I tend to be very lazy. Undoubtedly I have passion in these fields, yet I was lazy to attend classes. Many of the times I simply wasted my time in classes.

But to think back, I miss those times. I miss what I really love to do. Ever since I came to KL, somehow I do not do any of them anymore. My skills are all worn out.

I wish I get to continue on with what I love. Those equipment and stuffs are still nicely placed in their places. When I graduate and go home, I will make sure that I do so. So Mum, please do not sell off my piano. I will cry like hell ^^

Housemate's Rubik's Cubes collection

Sometimes I wonder, am I qualified to be an engineer? Do I have the brains needed by an engineer? Do I have the positive attitude needed by an engineer?

To be truthful, I doubt so.

This is not a post about regretting my choice of study. Just that after all these years in university, I wonder when I graduate, am I really qualified?

Results to me is not everything. I may not get superb results but at least my results are still ok. However compared to some who do not excel in finals, they are brilliant in practical. This is something that I wanted to achieve but fail.

Maybe it is my attitude that fails me. Maybe it is due to other factors.

But whatever it is, I hope that by the end of my final year in university as an engineering student, I can achieve something academically as I have done enough in co-curriculum wise. Hopefully, my final year project will be a huge leap for me and will lead me to the path that I want in future.

But before achieving something big, at least I must know how to play a Rubik's Cube. You know, I feel ashamed that given that I am an engineering student who should have brains that think fast, but until now I still fail to complete an easy one.

It remains as a challenge to me. A challenge that must be completed!

Froggies in Shyuan's pants

I do not know why, but these two froggies remind me about my brother and I.

We used to play and fool around when we were still kids, but when he entered high school, things changed. After that we were like deadliest enemies, always calling each other with awful nicknames. I think my parents had bad headaches at that time just to control us.

I can still remember, back then when we still shared the same bedroom, nearly every night I would not go to sleep without complaining to my mum about my brother. I would just need to go downstairs, make report to my mum and then reluctantly went to bed.

Haha seriously, how come we became so distant at that time? But when he went overseas to study, only then I wished he could rather just stay at home. I would not mind to quarrel or fight with him. Ironic.

But luckily things changed after he went there. Maybe because I was also no longer a kid. Truly grateful for that. I hope that he will come back next year.. all of us miss him.

So, anyone of you who went through the same thing as me?

Naughty Tzyy!

Remember about the post about the 2 new tortoises in our house? Their names are Tzyy and Shyuan because their owner is my beloved cousin, Tzyy Shyuan =)

Well this Tzyy is really troublesome. Today when I came home from class, I realized Tzyy was missing. And I was super worried because if it really went missing I was freaking sure that Shyuan (cousin) will go crazy. Pity her because she just lost her hamster.

So I gathered my housemates and called for a mission to find for it. We searched high and low for it and eventually found it eating dust in some dark place.

Sweat.

He has a nice playground with a shallow pool to play and wander around but he chose to escape from it to somewhere dark and dusty. Some more the playground was handmade by Shyuan with styrofoam but he did not appreciate it. Naughty Tzyy indeed!

Guess he found a way to escape because after putting him back, when Shyuan came home we realized he went missing again for the 2nd time!!! But this time we were not so scared because we knew he would not be too far away from playground.

Tzyy ah Tzyy.... guai guai la...

An escape from work!

Argh... taking a break right now. Cracked my brains whole day long for my FYP progress report and my head nearly went exploded.

In my entire life, I have never wanted to study for exam as much as I wanted to now. You know, when I was rushing for my FYP report today, how I wished I could just choose to study for finals rather than writing the damn report T_________T

Uni life was and is super hectic lately. I got to rush for assignments and report datelines. And when I have finally done with those piles of work, here comes my Final Year Project report.

Sigh.

The stress that I have undergone these few weeks was terrible. It went to an extent that I even dreamed about my assignment question which I did not know how to do. Lol... that was seriously bad. And then there was one day I dreamed about getting super low marks in one of my mid-terms.. 20+ / 500 marks.

Ok, I know there is no such thing as 500 full marks in any sort of mid term. But oh well, it shows how low my mark was =_= But in the end the dream was proven wrong because when I got back my test paper, it turned out ok. Thank god!

Anyway, after I hand up my FYP report and go through my presentation next week, I am still left with no time to chill and relax. Because I am now in Week 14 and next week will be my study week. I will be sitting for my 1st finals paper on 13th.

Gosh... I am so lack of time right now.

So after taking this short break, I shall continue on with my report. I have left it stranded for the past few hours. Really don't feel like touching it at all T_________T

By the way, I know I have not been updating as constantly as I have promised to... but I have really tried to blog as much as I could already. And yea I know my Project 365 is lagging behind time. Well no worries, I have taken a shot everyday, but will upload those shots when my FYP thing is over.

Ok, time to go back to work. Nitez everyone!

A Singaporean Friend

Kenny, is a Singaporean who came to Penang for his 1-month industrial training. He is training in the same company as Zhi Ling in Polytool and came along with us last night to Farlim night market.

I always feel proud when people give awesome comments about Penang. As usual, I asked him how he felt about Penang in his 1 month stay here. His answers were:

"The food is really nice."
"And the people are friendly."

Well, food of course I will definitely say they are delicious. But I am really glad he felt that Penangites are friendly =) Then am I friendly as well?? Haha.

Anyway he made a statement which made this 1st meeting and probably the last one an unforgettable one.

After Zhi Ling fetched me and Shyuan we chatted non-stop on the car. I would say I totally had no image in front of this new friend haha. Anyway when we reached and got down the car, he whispered to Zhi Ling about something which made Zhi Ling laughed like hell.

Zhi Ling was so excited and went on like:

ZL: "Sherril, Sherril, I want to tell you something about what Kenny said just now."

S: "What did he say? Must be something about me lo."

ZL: "He said he was shocked to see you SO SHORT."

S: "........."

S: "Haven't you seen people like me in this height??"

(I can't hear properly what he said except this sentence)
K: "我吓到。在车里我还以为你蛮高的。"
[trans: I was shocked. I thought you are tall when you're in the car]

S: "......."
S: "没看过这样矮的人meh?新加坡没有这样高度的女生meh?"
[trans: Haven't you seen such short person? Singapore does not have this kind of girls meh?]

(I think this was his answer)

K: "Nope, I haven't seen before."

S: "............" (laughing hard)

Then I quickly told him that my height is at least over 150cm and I am surely NOT the shortest in uni. Haha nothing to be proud of but nothing to be ashamed of too. I find his reactions and comments very funny because normally people's comments about me are "You are short."

But his was like "How come there is such short person on the earth?"

Haha. But he is indeed a friendly guy who happens to be in the same course as us. After chatting more with him only then I knew that there are not much chinese night markets in Singapore and he has not seen Taiwan Sausage and Lok Lok before. Cool because Penang is full of them and he can eat as much as he like since he will be leaving on Friday.

Anyway this night market trip left me wondering about 2 questions.

1. Are Singaporean girls all tall and there are really no petites at all???
2. What makes he think that I am tall in the first place based on my voice???

Bla bla bla...

Wah... it's already 1.30 am and I am just starting to write this post.

Nearly dozed off in front of the laptop just now. My eyelids were so heavy and my mind was so damn blank. Course rep suddenly said that we have to hand in the stupid Manufacturing tutorial tomorrow (I remember the lecturer said we only need to hand in 2 weeks later, which will be next friday). Whatever... so started to search online for the functions and purposes of mold, cope and drag in sand casting. But all the results shown didn't have a clear point because most of them are mainly about the process of sand casting. Moreover, it seems that cope and drag are parts that are quite unimportant in the process. So worse still, less info could be found! =( Cincai la...

Went to meet my dad this afternoon in Mid Valley. He went to Mid Valley for some meeting so he "shun bian" brought some things over for me. So good of him!!! Hehe... so finally today, I can have a larger table! Well, for your information, I didn't buy a new table. Instead, I extended the length of my table by putting a piece of custom-made wood on top. The best thing is, the wood is wrapped up with a light blue colour plastic. My favourite colour!!! =) Suddenly, my table is so spacious that I have no problem at all to online and do homework at the same time =)

He even brought his guitar for me. He bought this guitar when he was studying in Taiwan. Wah... that time he was only a university student. Meaning that, this guitar is a historic item wakaka. Nvm, it still can be used.. so don't waste money! Like I promised, when I learn to play my 1st song by using guitar (which will definitely be Jay Chou's song), I will play for you all to listen. Hope you all won't turn deaf after listening =)

Hehe... in this sentence --->"Meaning that, this guitar is a historic item wakaka.", the word "wakaka" made me think of an emotion. If you're someone who often use MSN with cute emotical icons, I'm sure you all have come across the icon shown below:
<-- seen before? It's an emo icon who's laughing evilly with both hands on his waist=) Haha, looking forward to see you laugh like that in front of me!! It won't be scary.. instead, this can help you to exercise your cheekbones =) Just kidding...so no offence ya!

When I was window shopping in Mid Valley while waiting for my dad's arrival, I went into Room again. Actually just went in yesterday in KLCC, but I couldn't resist myself from entering it again because "Cupido" is so cute!!! Hehe... "Cupido" is actually a doll from Dooodolls USA. Cupido is cute but too bad it represents Pieces, not Libra. SO SAD!!! *sobsob* The doll representative of Libra is called Blur Blur, which suits me well because I'm known to some as Freaky Blurzz / Blur Blur (chin hong always call me that) / Blur girl. However, it's not as cute as Cupido. Ish.. I WANT CUPIDO!!!!=) You all can visit Dooodolls USA for more information and pictures. Who knows, you might fall in love with one of the dolls =) Well, Cupido might not be the cutest, but I love it because there's a red heart sewn on it. I'm sure if everyone has this heart of love, there will be NO MORE wars in the world. Haha.. how I wish this can happen.

About 1 more month I'll be having my finals d. I guess now I really really need to buck up so that I can finish revising before finals. Apart from studying, I'm thinking and worrying about my trip to Redang. There are so many considerations that must be taken account to ensure that this trip will be a memorable one. I really hope that nothing goes wrong and every participant will enjoy themselves. By the way, should I join Taman Negara trip or be a committee member of Orientation? Actually wanted to join both but just knew from Kelvin that both events actually clash together. How? In dilemma now. Can someone please give me an opinion on which to choose?

Alright before ending today's post, let me treat you with 4 jokes. Hehe..these jokes were sent to me by my friend because that time I was so damn blur and sleepy. They're in chinese so I'm sorry if you don't understand them=)

1.

*sweat huh? hehe

2.

Haha, hope you all are entertained by these jokes. It's really time to sleep d, some more tomorrow I need to go to uni at 8am to continue with my G-Clamp. Arrghhh... thinking about grinding that stupid thing really drives me crazy!! Nvm... I can do it I can do it! Hehe.. oh yeah one more thing, if you all have the time, do watch "老师嫁老大" because it's really funny! Hehe.. I practically laughed from the beginning till the end of the movie.

Alright, good night and sweet dreams everyone. Have a nice Friday ya... cheers~!
