Finally I get to online (previously there was connection problem with my house line) and I should be blogging about something happy since I have just celebrated my 21st birthday. But something is holding me back.
Am I really 21?
I do not think so.
I do not look like 1. I do not act like 1. And my thinking is still so childish.
Suddenly, someone's words affected me a lot.
We always think how unfortunate we are, how the world is unfair to us. But really, are we that unlucky? Are we really the MOST unfortunate ones? To think of it, my answer is "No".
Perhaps, I should learn not to limit my sight. I have been living a comfortable life the moment I was born. I should be grateful for what I have had now and not to complain about it. In life, there are so many more things which are more important. But have I ever thought about that?
Because of some problems, I thought about giving up life. But there are people out there who faced greater challenges than me, yet they continued on fighting for it. What have I been thinking all this while? What is life?
Suddenly, I am lost. I am not sure what am I pursuing for in life. Happiness? Love? Success? What is my priority and what should be my major concerns??
I think I have no rights to talk about WHAT IS LIFE. All those shits that I have been talking all this while... I talked without understanding the true meaning behind it.
It is time for me to refresh my mind and look things in another perspective, viewing things in a larger picture. I need to grow up, I really need to.
Your words have stunned me. I am sorry that I have offended you. I am truly sorry.

We are always bothered by negative thoughts but hey, life isn't everything about what we think or what we feel.
Life's definitely more than that. :)

Everyone's priority and final objective is happiness.
Some pursue love, because it could provide happiness.
Some pursue money, because it could buy things or services that would make you happy.
Life is empty when one is unhappy.
Money is not the priority because often you would see wealthy people tried to enjoy life with luxuries, they ended up in sorrow and loneliness.
Being successful, of course would provide happiness. Those soldiers who get Medal of Honor are not rich, but their courage made them being more successful than a top post officer, in the measure of honor. They are successful in the army, so they are happy people.
Successfully achieving a goal is providing happiness too. See how those basketball players and footballers react when they score a goal.
You can set goals in your life too. You may be imaginative and dream big. Who knows when you will realify your big dreams coincidently, and when you realized it, it would be a stunning happiness.
Once someone asked me about my future prospects. I stated, i want to work in NASA JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), or probably some local companies in that field.
And guess what? After being rejected by several companies that would provide 9-5 office jobs, ordinary jobs, I had been chosen by an aerospace technology company, out of expectation!
So this would probably be dream came true. In this company we work about robots and aerospace stuffs, and there was once when we had lunch with the CEO, he said that the final objective of this company would be launching a rocket in the the Low Earth Orbit! I am quite sure that it would stop there, but will further thrust the company into interplanetary systems company!
I never expected that i will work in the company same field with Lockheed Martin, Boeing and NASA. You would guess that i love my job, and YES I DO LOVE MY JOB!
Flexible working time, flexible working scope, and fun when successfully completing those projects (try to enjoy your work), seeing them working fine and fly in the sky!
Brace yourself towards big dreams of a better future. You may not be enjoying in the moment, but the future sure would be fun and full of happiness when you are finally prepared.
