Can't Sleep

Hmm... 2.20am in the morning, and why am I still here? I still can't sleep without any reason... been thinking bout lots of stuffs lately.. dont worry, I'm fine..

After I went through the career test the other day, I realized that I'm really passionate in Forensic Science which should be categorized as Criminology. The counselor asked me to rate my list of choices of courses and here's the rating:

(pls take note that the rating is 1 - 10, 1=least 10=most)

1. engineering      : 8
2. forensic science : 10 
3. hotel management : 8
4. business         : 5
5. graphic design   : 5

Haha... I actually rated forensic science as 10. Too bad, not much places offer this course unless I do it in overseas. BUT I "BO-LUI"!!!!

Hehe.. Teck Wei, I hope that one day we can be partners in establishing a brand new century of hotel ya! Haha, never knew there's someone in my class who has the same dream as me - to open our own hotels. That's my dream because I'm a type of people who love to offer services (dont think on the wrong side ar...) to people and I love to observe and socialize with people. That's why by building a hotel with my very own design (that's why I wanted to study architecture last time), people will enjoy their stay. I've always thought that working in a hotel is nice because I get to meet various kinds of people. Maybe many of you don't know, but I love to obeserve people, try to understand what do they want and what are they thinking. I can learn alot by understanding why they are like this, exposed to different cultures and backgrounds. Haha.. I guess Psychology or Hotel Management is suitable for me right???

After undergoing the test, the results showed that I'm an artistic, social and investigative person because these 3 fields I scored the highest. These I've known ages ago because that's my personality. However, I've never thought that I'm actually a Realistic person - those types who are suitable to deal with machines... because the score was the 4th highest, which was just a few points behind Investigative. Therefore, I think choosing engineering is not a very unwise choice after all. :)

Well, I've transferred to Mechatronics Engineering and I hope my transfer of course will be successful!!!!!!!! Hehe... all da best to the other students as well!!

My Determination

Hmm... actually it's not yet 7am but I'm already wide awake. Somehow yesterday night I just slept off although it was still very early. Guess yesterday I was worrying about too much stuffs... my course, setapak accommodation, friendship etc... And all these worries made my mood swing again, and I'm sorry for what I have done.

I'm a short-tempered person - my family, my friends know bout this. But to some people, I have a good-temper. Maybe it's because all this while when I am here, a lot of things happened to me but I could not even utter a word of complain due to some reasons. All I could do was to swallow every word, every teasing, unhappiness n angriness into my stomach. However, actually I wished that I could just spit out everything whenever I want to ease my emotions... but I know, I'm responsible for my actions and I don't wish to create unwanted problems to the others.

People always give a same comment about me - When I don't smile I look very serious and fierce - Haha... but actually after they know me, they will find out that I'm not that type of person. Well... I don't like to be fierce(seriously even when I was in front of my juniors) so I guess I must smile more.. haha although SK told me the 1st impression I gave him was I'm a person who loves to smile and always so happy -开朗- yeah.. I love to be like that, and I know I'm actually like that, just that some environmental factors affected me. Nvm, I promise, from now on I will try to control my temper and emotions so that I don't simply flare my temper. I know friends and family out there will support me... I CAN DO IT!!!

Back from Langkawi!

Wow, without realizing I've actually finished the 4-day cycling expedition to Langkawi and came back to PJ. I'm sad to say that because of this expedition I couldnt sit for my mid-term test and replacement test is not allowed as my reason is not under consideration. However, I've never regretted for giving up my test and went for the expedition because what I've learned and gained from it is nothing that I could learn from my test. To me, guiding is always something that I enjoy and love very much.

I could tell you that if this expedition is to comapare with the previous expedition to Pangkor, this trip is further, tougher and hotter. Even our cycling leader - Ghee Ming also said that. Haha... but regardless of all these factors, we actually made it to Langkawi.... YEAH !!! *high five* Shyuan and I were placed in Group 4, which is a group that I've never regretted to be in. I love this group a lot and I miss everyone of them.. peeps.. I miss all of you!!!

Haha.. I can tell you something, G4 is a group which loves to take pictures. Wherever we go we will take, take and take. Luckily all of us are very friendly and can mix very well although we came from 7 different schools/uni.

Wei Han - When I know she's going to take over Ghee Ming's place as our leader, I was disappointed because I wanted to be in the same team as Ghee Ming very much. But then after this expedition, I guess my disappointment proved me wrong. She's the best leader among the others and always so caring about us. With her around, my group is always so energetic. Haha,.. you won't know she's a teacher until she tells you because she's as crazy as us!!! But she can be very serious during lessons... Sheryn and the others who are taught by her said that she's a good teacher. During the last night when Sheryn knew that Wei Han's going to be transferred to one of the Selangor schools, her eyes became red instantly and tears dropped down. She was so sad that Wei Han is leaving. Never mind... we will still meet together during the May holidays right??

Shyuan - well I have nothing to say about her because I've known her since the day I was born. Haha.. maybe I should say what impression she gave to our teammates. Forever so good tempered and always soooo good (because she helped them to carry a backpack haha) erm... Don't know d... I've known her too long... what I can say is that she's not a guide/ranger but went as a volunteer.... and I cant remember that she has any bad attitudes. well that's my cousion, the professor in my class haha..

Sheryn - She is someone that I couldn't forget about. Her determination, friendliness, craziness and everything really make her unique. Imagine, if you were to be knocked down by a motor and injured your leg 1 day before the expedition, will you choose to continue joining the expedition? I'm sure 99.9% of you will answer NO. But she's the 0.1% who still insisted to go and she actually finished the whole journey. I really salute to her... she's GREAT~!!! If you don't know her you will think that she's those quiet type, like we did. But once you started to know her, wow I can tell you, you will laugh till your sides pain and talk non-stop with her. And if you need to announce something, ask her to announce - she's our PA system (haha.. no offence ya gal) if you need an aerobics instructor, try to hire her because she teaches aerobics in her school. If you see her entering Superstar, pls be prepared that you will fail because she was the Idol in her school last year. Haha.. and if she's sleeping soundly, better don't try to wake her up like I did because you will just waste your efforts. well.. that's all for your part, Sheryn.... hehe btw thanks for the piggy key chain~!

The 3 siao cha bo's - Guleng, Kar Chee & Yin Lan -- met 3 of them 1 day before the expedition but we are not strangers at all.

Guleng - haha.. she has a special name right? That's what she asked us to call. Anyway, she's also one of the crazy gals. You know what, although she's just in F4, but she's very 'bo dua bo sei' and called me 'gina' for the whole trip. Until the last day of the expedition, when Wei Han said, "Sherril....." She actually asked Wei Han, "Who's Sherril?" OMG... she didnt even remember that gina is actually Sherril.. apala... hehe.. Then she always has the difficulty to remember shyuan's name and called the wrong name. When shyuan didn't answer her, she asked a very funny question,"Why didn't you answer me?":) Well I guess all of us couldnt forget about her Nemo when we were in the ferry. We even can remember how she was so scared of 'those things' when we were in Langkawi - Kondo Istana-. Haha.. She was supposed to sleep in between KC & YL but she was still scared and asked me n shyuan to move a mattress to her room and sleep with them. The worst part is that she didnt even dare to switch off the lights in the room while sleeping and asked the others not to close their room doors.. haha... she's really funny... but don't siao siao, she's now the CL for her coy and next year she will be the UL for the unit.. Gambate~!!!

Kar Chee - She's our Mummy or 'guan jia po'. Why? Haha.. because she's the one always asking us to keep to house/room clean, worry about our lunch and dinner, always trying to help the hotel to save electricity and she's the one always wiping the table for us. Don't misuderstand, it's she who buat dgn rela hati becuase she cannot stand the messiness hehe... She's cute. But she's blur when it comes to our bicycle formation haha. Oh yeah I nearly miss out 1 more thing, she and Yin Lan very close, like 'ba lek ko'.. haha.. they always appeared together or went missing together. But she's one of those who hate to take photos. I think she's forced to take most of the group photos because Wei Han insisted. :) Overall she's nice and has the semangat to cycle hehe.

Yin Lan - The blurrest of all I think. I still remember the 'sesat' incident during formation competition. Haha.. the only one doing the circle formation. She's cute too... but then when we were practicing for the formation, she and Kar Chee started to argue because both of them were the leaders for the formation. If they did something wrong or their timing is wrong, the rest behind will follow and the whole group will become messy. But luckily, they did well except for the 'sesat' incident hehe.

Ming Xian - She's my ex-schoolmate and she was once my member when I was the AUL for 19th Ranger Unit. One of the active rangers. Therefore she's no stranger to me at all. Still so cute, crazy and happy type. Loves to take photos and always called her bf to say that "wa kao liao" (I reached d) hehe... She likes to say that her mom is japanese because my teammates always said that she looks like japanese (because of her hair style I think) Basically she gives everyone an impression that she's friendly and yeah, very crazy when she's with Sheryn. THANKS to Sheryn Ng... :)

Million - I guess all of you will ask, "Is she a chinese or mixed?" because her name is Ooi Shia Million. Well actually she's a PURE CHINESE. Then why her name is so weird? That's because her chinese name is 黄雪亿. 亿 = million. Her father traslated directly from chinese that's why her name is so special. Anyway,she's 22 and studying Pharmacy in IMU currently. Damn hardworking k, she brought her notes to the cycling trip because she has test on Friday. Always smiling face and she looks so sweet and pretty. Believe it or not, she really has a millionaire outlook. I don't mean this by her clothes or stuffs, but her appearance gives me an elegant feeling. She's staying in Alor Setar but studied in MGS when she was in secondary. Her baby sitter who is in Langkawi sayang her alot and always came to our condo and gave her bottles of water.

Alyn - Another siao cha bo. The first day in Langkawi she was really hyperactive. Kept wanting to sing songs to us and the rest of CGL-ians. I know she missed her pillow a lot because she kept hugging the condo's pillow everywhere. Actually I knew about her existance through my friend JQ. But when I saw her, the 1st impression that she gave me was SHE IS PRETTY. I love her face and her eyes. Anyway, she really has ''semangat berbasikal''. Haha... well, she's also friendly but I didnt talk to her as much as I did to Sheryn. Anyway, during formation that day, I only knew that she knows my friends like bern, hon sern, eddy they all etc. Haha... the world is so small.. Basically, it was nice to know her and had her with us because she's one of those who love taking pics and do crazy stuffs. Guess how much she spent one night just for choc? 100 over ringgit... gosh!

Chris - When I first knew her, I thought she's those very cool type. Too bad I started to get know her better during the second last day. She could actually talk a lot and siao siao with us. And if I'm not mistaken, she's also a Gensomaden Saiyuki's fan. She's like me and shyuan who love anime and comics. She's very cute when taking pics, always pose some funny patterns. Actually she was somehow foreced to go for the expedition because she didnt want to leave Alyn alone (other friends from their gang PPK) see how 'yi hei' is she! She never really understood why Alyn was always so active in rangers. But after this expedition, she realized that she actually enjoyed it and finally understood why Alyn is active. Well Chris... hope to see you soon!

Xu Jen - She's also a F4 ranger. For my first impression, she was over crazy and I didnt really like. But after mixing more with her, I felt that she's still ok and was actually really crazy. She loves to put powder on people's face at night and forever so active. I remembered there was one journey she cycled with me... the 1st time I talked to her. Xu Jen, you broke my sunglasses!!!!! Haha.. no big deal, don't worry about it ya~!!

Aun Theng - Frankly I don't really know her well. I just know that she was the one behind me during formation. Part of the reason is because she was always so quiet and not so siao like us hehe.. but still she's part of the G4 family.. nice to meet u!

Im sorry but I'm not close to the Malays because they always 'cabut diri' when they reached the hotel.

Well... after this expedition, once again I became dark again. But I think this time is worse because the layers of colors of my skin are so visible. I don't know what to wear to uni because all the sleeves of my t-shirts are not long enough to close the layers of colors. Haha... that day when I had breakfast with JQ, he was laughing at me... ISH!!!!!!!!!

Basically that's all I wanted to say about the expedition... so peeps now I would like to ask you a question, if you were to be given a chance to cycle to Langkawi or Pangkor for FOC... would you consider the offer and accept it? Trust me.. there wont be regrets at the end of the expedition.. because I've never regretted going to any of the 2 expeditions. In fact I think that they taught me to believe in yourself and be tough!

NEW BLOG

Hey everyone out there this is my new blog. Well, I've given up MSN Spaces due to some internal problems which suck so much. Furthermore it can't be edited by Firefox browser. Actually I've registered for Blogger ages ago just that I was too lazy to shift my blogging here haha. Anyway I hope that from now on all of you will come and visit my blog here.

I've just came back to PJ for less than a fortnight and tomorrow I will go back to PG again. Guess what plans do I have? Haha.. 3 years ago when I was in Form 4 (2004) I went for a cycling expedition to Pulau Pangkor. This year I will join this cycling expedition again. But this time we will be cycling to Pulau Langkawi. Well you may ask, " Wow.. cycle to Langkawi. Can that be done?" Ahaha... you never know but with our guiding spirit I'm sure that all of us will finish the whole expedition successfully like we did last time! When I come back from this expedition I will tell you more about it.

3rd semester (short semester) has started and I bet it will be a hectic sem because it's only a 7-week semester. Everything will just happen in a blink of eye. Anyway this will be my last semester in PJ campus and by May I will end my PJ life and move to Setapak. I hope that all of us will have a memorable and happy semester.

Mid-term will start in Week 3 (next week). Therefore UTAR students who are in Year 1 Semester 3... G-A-M-B-A-T-E!!!!!
