Dropped by Unique Penang Art Gallery today after our dinner at BBQ Plaza. This is our second visit to this lovely gallery at Love Lane.

Our first visit. That was Joey behind us

Unique Penang Art Gallery exhibits a range of beautifully painted drawings by Joey Lim and other little kids as well as mesmerizing photographs by Clovis Leong.

It is good to see people who are passionate with what they do are persistent in pursuing their passion, especially when they are from Penang Thumbs up for both Clovis and Joey!

Before leaving the gallery, you can purchase a favourite postcard and choose a date to send it off. This “future postcard” concept is very special and we actually did that during our last visit in December 2011. If not mistaken we have chosen to send off our postcards one year later, which is end of this year. Hence now our postcards are still sitting in the shelf, waiting for the big day to arrive hehe. By the way, the postcards are printed with drawings by the kids.

Today’s visit is a little bit special because there was a Brazilian girl selling handmade accessories outside the gallery. We actually went there to have a look at the accessories. Love them very much Bought a black wrist band which I thought the design is very unique while Jhu bought an orange one.

Behind 50, Love Lane

Well to be exact, Behind 50 is actually located at Muntri Street

Since last year, many little cozy cafes have mushroomed around Penang town area. Jhu found out this particular cafe named Behind 50 and thought that it should be a good idea to give Jureen a birthday surprise over there.

After working out a plan with Jureen’s bf, we set off to buy cake before reaching the cafe. We parked our car at Love Lane and walked towards Muntri Street.

Snapped a picture of these excited faces while they were discussing about the best timing to walk in and surprise the birthday girl with her birthday cake.

After making sure the coast is clear, we proceeded with our plan and…..

Jureen was caught by surprise! YAY! Plan succeeded!

So what food does this cafe offer?

I myself ordered:

Mushroom soup with its signature number 50 on top

Spaghetti Carbonara

Food was not bad and with the ambience, we had a great time chit chatting and relaxed ourselves. Thumbs up!

Now let’s take a look at the interior decor and the antique stuffs that they have in this lovely cafe.

I really really love this corner. Always wanted to do something like this for my future home Photo frames corner!

Officially resigned and has now started to plan my new journey

Looking at them made me realized how much they have changed and grown up after this picture was taken. *miss them*

And for a fresh start, I did my nails by myself. Sorry if you think it is ugly because I am not professional.

Anyway, need to continue with my to-do things. I am sure this February will be a very fun month. According to one of the feng shui books, this year’s February is my best month!

哭笑不得

Hello people! How was your Chinese New Year celebration? Did anything different this year?

Well, for me this year’s Chinese New Year is the same as previous years. Been eating and eating since reunion dinner till today, went “bai nian” (CNY visiting in Mandarin), played the usual “games” and lazed around at home. Was quite a nice break for me from work, but too bad I had to start work quite early.

When I started work on Friday, I noticed that I still have another 2 more days till my last day in work. 2 more days!

When I looked at the kids, I realized that I have really gotten close to them and the fact that I am going to leave them in 2 days time just ached my heart. I kept asking them would they remember and miss me? They said “yes”. But kids…..if you are not around for some time, they will forget you de. Really really really 不舍得. How ah?

While I was writing their January reflections, I discovered that many of them have improved, in terms of academic and behaviour. Very happy but also very sad.

I am happy that February is just around the corner and I can start to prepare for my March trip, yet I am sad that I have to leave the little ones behind……

I will never forget you naughty kids!

Fullhouse Cafe @ Penang Times Square

I am sure that from the above picture, many Malaysians should know that this place is called Fullhouse Cafe

Well, Fullhouse is actually a Lifestyle Store and Cafe. Inside, they do not only sell food, but also clothes, accessories, gifts etc. Once you step inside this beautifully decorated cafe, you will be instantly greeted by white-cloured walls with perfect lighting that will ease your mood almost immediately. Together with the simple and lovely decorations, the ambience is just too hard to resist.

Well, at least that was my 1st impression when I first stepped into its outlet in Ara Damansara. The decorations… I just them!

As we know, Fullhouse already has few outlets in KL and PJ area - Ara Damansara, Sunway Giza, SS2 Mall, Sunway Pyramid and Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. And now finally it has arrived in Penang Times Square, and seemed to have attracted many Penangites

Heard that now Penangites “heng” ( meaning in trend in hokkien) Fullhouse…. well, definitely not me haha.

But Kuak said since there is an outlet in Penang Times Square why not give it a try? Hmm actually I knew that he just wanted a place with nice ambience to dine with me during our date If you ask me to go, I may be reluctant because from my past experience in KL, the food to me is just acceptable, not exceptionally delicious. What they sell is more to ambience.(like I said, that is my point of view, no offence)

But since Kuak suggested, why not? Hehe.

Fullhouse Cafe has a signature decoration that they usually place in front of the main entrance, which is a car as shown below.

We were searching for this type of car inside Times Square, but what we found at the entrance was…..

a trishaw.

Haha this truly resembles Penang, doesn’t it?

Anyway when I went in only then I realized there were 2 entrances, the one I went into was decorated with trishaw while the other entrance was decorated with its signature car.

Once we sat down, I quickly grabbed the menu and flipped because I was super hungry. As usual, the menu is designed in a quirky style whereby there are even comic to read at the pages behind, which involves the “cartoon characters” of Fullhouse Cafe.

Now let’s talk about the food.

We ordered:

No.141: Wok-Sear Chicken Chop RM16.90

To be on the safe side I ordered Wok-Sear Chicken Chop which I usually ordered in PJ outlet. But.. it turned out that this dish disappointed me. How to say? Erm, the portion is smaller and the chicken is a bit too hard. However undeniably the sauce is tasty.

No.144 Oven Roasted Chicken Tenderloin RM19.90

Kuak ordered this dish. Nothing much special and he complained that it is a bit hard. Well….. what do you say?

No.111 Forest Mushroom Soup RM8.90

No. 701 Cappucino RM9.90

Anyway, after dining we went up 2nd floor to look at the surroundings. I really these pictures / cartoons. Should find one day and draw this type of cartoon.

Now, it is time for me to wrap up my dinner at this Fullhouse Cafe.

Overall I should just say, PJ outlet left me with better impression compared to this time. If you are not too particular about food and need a place with such ambience, Fulhouse Cafe is certainly your choice!

The last time I took leave was for my convocation. Apart from that, I have been working non-stop, especially for the past few weeks whereby I needed to work on Saturdays as well.

Hence when it was time to clear leave I was pretty happy

Daddy had to go down KL to settle some things and attend exhibition so i took the opportunity to follow my parents down to KL to collect my academic transcript. Yes, my convocation was 3 months back and I had yet to receive my transcript due to my stupid signature. LOL

Anyway, I went down KL for a mere 2 days only. TOO SHORT!!! I MISS KL SO MUCH!

Wednesday we set off at 5AM. Damn early I know. But Daddy had to reach Putrajaya early so we had no choice. Dropped by Ipoh for our favourite dim sum at -

“Foh San Dim Sun Restaurant”

After that we headed straight to Putrajaya. Well, Putrajaya is supposed to be one of the most important cities because all ministries are situated in there, yet the road signs in Putrajaya are LOUSY. We actually lost our way inside there.

Anyway after that we had lunch and went to collect my academic transcript at PJ campus. FINALLY I got my graduation certificate and transcript! Yay! Then in the evening I met up with Fernie to follow her back Setapak, my “2nd hometown”

Had dinner with Yee, Fernie and Kenny. And wow, I just graduated half a year, and the last time I went back was 3 months and now Genting Klang is so much different with all the new shops and malls opening. They took me to Festival City for dinner at Octopus, which I had always ignored when I went to Wangsa Walk during uni days.

Coincidently, all sushi all conveyor belt were sold half price! HALF PRICE! So great

Overnighted at Fernie's house and woke up with this view. Guess where did I stay?

I still prefer my old house at Prima Setapak Anyway, going back there really brought back so much memories to me….. Happy, Sad, Angry, Boring, Exciting etc… I MISSSSSSSSSSSS those times!

By the way, thank you babe for your generous hospitality. And Yee was kind enough to prepare hot Milo and 2 eggs for me as breakfast. Thank you my 2 babes!

Babes, I am glad as I have you guys as my bff. You girls are amazing throughout my life. After this month, we may not get to meet that often anymore…. till our missions are completed! Hehe.

Overall, I had an enjoyable trip to KL. I swear I will go down again for more catching up with uni friends as well as… SHOPPING!

Today is one of the best Saturdays I have ever had after I started working. Felt so blessed and contented

I started my day by having dim sum as breakfast with Daddy before heading to my workplace. Only 10 kids turned up in school today hence more quality could be spend on each of them.

Can you see the yellow shirt guy? Well he brought many “helicopters” so I taught the kids to fly the helicopters though I have no flying license at all haha

After flying helicopters and rested enough, it was time for the kids to have fun in indoors. These 2 small guys below played the matching game – match alphabets to the correct picture.

E.g: E to picture of an elephant.

Then I tested this cute boy with memory game. I gave him 5 colours in one shot which he was supposed to remember the order of colours and put the the correct colour rings onto his fingers. Well, he has done a really good job in remembering!

Anyway the main activity today was to do art and craft. I thought that since Christmas is just about 1 month away, why not let them make Christmas tree?

I must say, eventhough I always say this job is tiring, but I really really love my job. I love the kids and I am sure I will miss them a lot Like I said, job satisfaction to me is my main motivation for me to work and strive harder. Seeing those little ones happy and hearing them say, “Teacher I like you” “Teacher I love you” make me wanna do more to let them learn and have fun more. Little kids, you guys are my motivation!

After work I followed boss to Bukit Mertajam to buy things. She brought me to a very big shop which sells many many kinds of things with very cheap price. On the way we dropped by for Mee Ketam at Bukit Tengah.

When I reached home at about 7.20pm from BM, my mum said, “Let’s go for Bak Kut Teh in BM.” I was like, why not just now you guys just go over and meet me over there? In the end I went BM twice in a day, once was for buying things and another time was for dinner haha.

Anyway we did not eat bak kut teh. My dad suggested to go for steamboat (maybe because it was raining heavily) which we used to go when my bro and I were still kids – Hooi Kee Steamboat.

The dinner was a very warm dinner. I love to spend time with my family especially when everyone is in good mood I love my family, I love my job and I love my kids. I really cherish what I am having now. But I cannot just stop here, I must move further and achieve more because I have dreams to chase for.

But for this moment, let me just sit back and enjoy these happy moments.

仰头望雨过的天，就会看到一道充满新希望的彩虹

Guess I should post something here before this blog go dead, which I do not wish to see that happen. Haha, if you are still reading this blog, I wanna say "THANK YOU VERY MUCH :)"

I officially turned 23 last Saturday on October 15. 23 years old is not more a kiddo. It is a point of life whereby decisions you make may affect your entire life journey. Sometimes I will wonder, am I doing the right thing now? I look at my friends and look back at myself, I wish I can do more than what I am doing now :(

Things are not going on well in work lately. But I will not give up. Like my title says, 仰头望雨过的天，就会看到一道充满新希望的彩虹. What I can say is, I chose this path so I will try my best to give my best shot. At the end of the day what I wish in return is satisfaction from the job. That is the only thing that can motivate me to go on. Job satisfaction to me is very important.

Hopefully next post will be a cheerful post full with "snow happiness" feeling :) Take care, peeps!

My New Life :)

So I can now officially say that I am employed and has since started working last week.

Well frankly I have not expected to land on this job as my 1st official job after graduated. However, I find myself quite like it though it is really a bit tough

Many people asked me, why this job?

Haih, I lazy to explain again and again so let me skip this part. Some people may think that this is not a good job bla bla bla but whatever lah. I have made my decision and did not regret. But I certainly need to be strong and tough to overcome the obstacles of this job.

Friday was our Merdeka and Raya celebration. Besides that colouring contest was held on the same day. The kids enjoyed themselves with delicious food and had fun colouring away with colour pencils.

人生无常啊！

刚才睡午觉的时候，我其实是梦见她的状况好转了。我以为，这个梦意味着还有希望，还有奇迹。

哪里知道。。。却是刚好相反。

虽然已经做了最坏的打算，但是当事实摆在眼前的时候，还是有点难接受。

我妈说，在这种时候我们要控制情绪，以便当事人可以走得安心。真的是这样吗？那么，明天的我一定要坚强，绝对不可以流泪。

我的朋友们，你们一定要坚强！有什么事，还是有我们姐妹在。

我知道我是很幸福的。我有很爱我的家人，很爱我的他，也很爱我的朋友。很庆幸我有很多真心的好朋友，会在我难过的时候陪伴我，会在我高兴的时候一起分享。

但是，现在好朋友不开心了，面对了一些是我不可能会体会和了解的伤心和痛苦。因\为，我本身没有经历过。很想安慰，但是说什么都好像帮不上忙，分担不了心里的负担。

This cat is cute, isn’t it? I do not like cats, but I find that its sleeping pose is super adorable!

I saw this cat and was busy snapping pictures of this cat when I heard an ang moh stood behind and said, “What happened?”

His expression was very exaggerating. Eyes were big and bulging, probably quite shocked that there was a “dead” cat on the pavement.

Not until he looked closer at the cat and found out that it was actually still alive. He heaved a huge relief and told his mother, “Oh, it is still breathing.”

=_= of course it was still breathing, duh!

I wondered, would a cat be dead in such lazy position? LOL

Anyway, this is a useless post. Just wanna share a cute picture with you guys, that’s all.

Look at the furniture and decoration, I am sure you know it, especially if you have watched “The Little Nyonya” before.

Yes, I went Pinang Peranakan Mansion today and took this picture. Worth a trip to this tourist spot, though the entrance ticket actually cost RM10 per person.

Being a Penangite, I must say that there are still so many places that I have not went before. Will make trip by trip to these places along with my favourite camera, so that I can play with my camera while sight seeing hehe.

Well, actually that is not entirely true. I was previously at home clearing off rubbish, an amount of rubbish that noone can imagine. Things that have been kept for N years yet useless in the future should all go into the rubbish bin. Noone will spend time clearing except me, before I found a job.

After that, I followed Kuak back to Alor Setar for a few days.

Yeah, you heard me right, Alor Setar, a place that is not fun at all. But, with him around everything seems fun

So cut the crap and I will just briefly update what I have done.

Do you love kids?

I do! And I especially my little nieces and nephews. They are so damn cute!

Yesterday my cousin wanted to treat her family a belated Father’s Day celebration. Hence my ah ma, aunty, uncle, their kids (my cousins) and their grandchildren (my nieces and nephews) went for the dinner.

Was an ordinary dinner but it was great to have the kids around. My aunty and uncle are very fortunate as they already have 4 grandchildren at a still not-young-not-old age. But my ah ma must be the happiest person because she has so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her

My cousin, WC is the youngest child in my aunty’s family. She is also younger than me so of course, she is still unmarried. So do not misunderstand, the two kids are her niece and nephew as well Her brother’s son and sister’s daughter.

This fatty guy below is my eldest nephew. Fat right? Haha I think he can carry me, but I do not think I am able to carry him. He loves to eat, but to loves to share with people as well. Just a word to describe him in Hokkien, “giet” >.<

Having kids are tiring sometimes. But they bring so much warmth and joy to the family. I hope that next time when I am old, I can be as fortunate as my aunty and uncle. Having little kids around you makes you feel happier and younger,

Hello people, greetings from Taipei!

My backpacking journey to Taiwan with friends will end soon. Have already spent 8 days here and the weather here is extremely hot!

Within these days we have travelled from north (Taoyuan桃園) -> Tainan 台南-> Kaohsiung 高雄-> Kending 墾丁and now settled down in Taipei台北.

And you know what? We actually met another 2 groups of UTAR-ians here in the hostel that we are staying in right now! 1 group from Electrical and Electronics, one group from Civil and we are from Mechatronics. What a coincidence! Haha

Anyway, gonna make sure my remaining days in Taiwan can be memorable and meaningful. Gonna miss here so much. I can officially say that......

I have indeed fallen in love with this beautiful country :)

So last few days I stayed in Penang to accompany my brother. Time flies so fast. He was actually back here for a month already! Just sent him off back to Brisbane early at 5am this morning. *sob sob*

Friday was sort of a gathering for us cousins. 5 of us went dim sum, then followed my brother to buy Nikon D3100 (which I am using now as well). The weather was super hot so my brother generously treated us a cold sweety meal at Haagen Dazs!

Believe it or not, it was my first time dining there. This kind of ice-cream is too luxurious for me. But my brother wanted to treat us so of course choose something expensive

The last few days were very precious to me because first of all my brother was still in Malaysia and went crazy with us, Secondly it has been a while since we 3 girls hang out together together with her sister! Apart from these, I actually helped my grandma to prepare some ingredients for “bak zhang" and played with my little niece and nephew.

To Accept or Not To Accept?

Good news for me is I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY GRADUATED

Bad news for me is, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

People may think that I am still reluctant to settle down and work and still want to play around and enjoy life. Yes I admit that I am still reluctant to face the real working world. In fact, I am starting to get scared. But I know the limits, and I do not wish to get allowance from parents anymore since I have graduated.

But, which direction should I head to?

Should I accept the job offer or turn down and hunt for another job?

I have some considerations in mind that I think are important. But at this moment, should these considerations be my priorities?

張家界、長江三峽之旅 (Preview)

Hello people! How are you guys doing lately? Muahaha I have just came back from China yesterday. Very tiring yet very recharged!

I could see that my last blog post was dated 12 May. So sorry for not updating often. After finals I was busy packing and moving my stuffs back to Penang. Then my bro went down KL and I was busy being his driver. After that was our annual family trip to China and this time we went Zhangjiajie 張家界 and Changjiang Sanxia 長江三峽.

The vacation was 10 days long. We took flights, travelled long hours on buses, stayed four nights on 5 star cruise, walked and climbed up hills and steps and took boat rides to have better view of sceneries. Hotels that we stayed were superb and food was great but got very disgusting in the end because the food was almost the same especially on cruise.

Most importantly, we have added a brand new chapter of China’s partial history and culture into our book of knowledge. Time to do more research and tidy up my notes that I have jotted down during the journey.

And the best part is, we together as a big family (16 of us) have once again travelled together, spent great time together and made new friends at the same time. I absolutely love the time we spent together and will cherish those moments.

Will endure my 1st backpacking experience with friends next week and am now busy planning my part of schedule. Thus, most probably will blog about my China trip after my backpacking trip!

Goodbye?

After the last paper in my final sem in uni, everyone was happy. I could see my friends’ FB status were all about “Yay, I have graduated!” “Goobye UTAR!” or even “The end. Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechatronics Engineering.”

So what about me? What was my feeling? I was supposed to feel happy, but why? Why I did not feel the adrenaline pleasure flow in me? Guess for the time being till the release of results, I shall not declare that I have graduated, just in case. My performance in exam was not good.

Anyway…. 5 years have gone by and now, a whole new life is waiting for me. Kinda excited, yet at the same time I am scared. What should I do next? What is it that I really want to achieve in life? I will ponder over this question during my vacations. New places and new experiences, here I come!

5 years in KL is indeed quite a long time, Many things happened here. Met all sorts of people. Joined all sorts of activities and done crazy stuffs. I love my student life, yet I know it should end somewhere now. Gonna miss here so much, though I always grumble about my uni and KL. Gonna miss the people, the place, the food, the life etc etc etc……

Hopefully, I can graduate in time!

Wednesday was my Final Year Project (FYP) presentation. Not sure about my performance as I could answer some of the questions by my moderator but there were some questions that I could not answer. Hopefully, that was my FINAL presentation for my UNI life. I do not want to extend another sem just for that!

OK, enough of FYP. This week is supposed to be my study week as my 1st final exam paper for this sem is on next Tuesday. 3 more papers for my uni life. Seriously, I hope everything can be smooth!!!!

So after my presentation on Wednesday, I decided to meet up my babes for one last time before I move back to Penang (if things go on smoothly for finals and fyp). Hence, we went to Betty’s Midwest Kitchen in Aman Suria. Followed GPS all the way from home and finally found that lovely place

Kuak and I reached first and my, the place was already packed with people! It was a weekday, yet it was full. The food should be nice, I thought.

Once we reached the place, a very diligent and polite waiter came out to serve us. We were asked to take a seat at the waiting area outside the restaurant while waiting for my friends to arrive. I would say, the service was superb, from the time we reached till we left. Thumbs up for Betty’s Midwest Kitchen!

After the gang arrived, coincidently there were tables available inside the restaurant so all of us shifted inside. A very nicely decorated interior. Too bad we went at very peak hour so it was actually quite noisy. If we were to dine like 5.30pm, maybe it would better and feel more cozy.

Despite the amount of customers that flooded the place, food was served quite quickly. Another thumb up for Betty’s!

The portions of food served were quite large (maybe to me and my friends). The gravy for #1 Classical Meatloaf and #2 Pork Chop with Country Gravy was super delicious and tasty! Heard that Classical Meatloaf is one of their specialities. No wonder

Well, actually that pic wasn’t taken inside the restaurant. We could not hang around too long in it because there were still many people outside waiting to be seated. So to be considerate, we left after finishing our dinner and went to a nearby mamak to continue chatting. This pic was taken at the mamak named “Original KAYU”. How original I wonder?

Anyway, that’s all. Maybe one day you guys can try out this place. Really a nice place with nice food and good service. But please, make a reservation (can be done online) first before going to ensure that you have a place when you reach!

15號交了論文后，4月16號就是他的演唱會了。算是獎勵自己辛苦了那麼多天吧！

實話實說，羅志祥真的是一個很努力，很拼的一個藝人。總是要把最好的呈現給大家。當晚在他的演唱會看了一些錄影片段后，感覺到他的辛酸，也感受到他的堅強與奮鬥。羅志祥，我欣賞你也會繼續支持你！

Don't all of us look happy in these pictures? These are probably my last pictures with most of them.

Yeah everyone was happy when taking these pre-graduation photos. It was as though we have already graduated. But the fact is, we haven't. And there are still so many things to go through before we are able to graduate on time.

What worries me the most is still my fyp. What my advisor told us really pressured me a lot. What if we really can't get the desired result and we fail this subject? I am not being negative, but my coursemate told us there were such cases under my supervisor.

*sigh*

Upcoming will be 2 critical weeks which we have to complete our fyp nicely with well-written thesis. Besides that, I have 1 test, 1 lab report and 1 major assignment to hand in as well.

Great. Let's hope that this shall my the last time I'll get this mad busy and there will be NO MORE such thing in future after this semester. Which means, I MUST GRADUATE!!!

An Inspiring Speech by Steve Jobs

I know it has been a very long time since I last updated my blog, but please please please bear with me for this period. Last semester in uni is harder than I expected, and my fyp is driving me nuts because it seems that I cannot achieve my desired result. Blah.

Anyway, I attended a soft skill program today (as I wanted to complete all soft skill categories in order to obtain an official cert for it). The program is called "Marketing Tools: Blue Ocean Strategy".

Well, have you heard of Blue Ocean Strategy? Do you know what is it? Or you just know Red Ocean Strategy? Well, just click here to read more about Blue Ocean Strategy.

I would say, this program is quite beneficial, just a bit dry for me. It will not be as interesting and funny as programs like NLP, Thinking Out of the Box etc. But still, it's a good program to join and can enhance your knowledge. No regrets joining it :)

For this post, actually I just wanted to share a video with you all. It was one of the videos that my facilitator, Mr. Kenth Teh shared with us. It's a speech by Steve Jobs. A very very inspiring speech delivered by the famous Apple Inc co-founder to the graduates in Stanford University in 2005.

Yea, I know it's like 6 years back, but still I found it inspiring. Enjoy the video!

我没法让自己相信这一关是100%过得了。

时间逼近了，但是还是没成果。

如果过不了，怎么办？

好想放弃！

我确实不适合留在这个领域。根本就是我不喜欢的东西。

我不要埋怨，只想要快点结束，快点让自己从这个噩梦醒过来。

我，已经好久好久没有好好睡了。

因为压力，所以老毛病又发作，每晚睡觉都做梦，有时还是噩梦。

是不是再努力就一定可以？为什么我觉得还是不行呢？:'(

B&S Program: An experience interacting with Japanese students

Finally what I have learnt during my Japanese lessons could be put in use.

Well, at least that was what I thought when I joined the B&S Program (Brother and Sister Program). It is a program whereby university students like me will lead a small group of Japanese high school students to tour around KL city for about half a day. And the best part is, we're paid to bring them around, because it is a part time job.

But after my 1st experience with the 1st group of students that I led, I realized that what I have learnt could only be applied about 10% of it. The rest of the time we communicated like chickens and ducks. I spoke mainly in English and made many silly actions to make them understand what I was trying to say. Really funny.

However despite the language barrier between us and the super hot weather, I had fun :) It was a great experience interacting with the Japanese students. Altogether I have led 2 different groups. The 2nd group was from Hokuryo High School in Kyoto.

I think they were quite lucky compared to us because they had the chance to come to Malaysia for a few days for a short study trip. They would go to selected high schools in Kuala Lumpur to interact with our local high school students while doing some discussions with them. Sounds fun right?

Anyway, here are some pictures of this program. The places that we went were mainly tourists spots like KL Tower, Suria KLCC / Twin Tower, Central Market, Chinatown, Merdeka Square etc.

For the 1st group, I took them to KL Tower and Aquria KLCC. Since Yoon Sin and her group were going to the same places, we practically sticked together during the entire trip. Each of us had 4 students.

We stayed up there less than 15 minutes because there was basically nothing special, except the KL city view. Before proceeding to the next destination, we went to the mini zoo and horse-riding stall below the tower.

Price: RM38 (Adult)

Comment: It is a place where you should only go once, because the price is not worth for a second visit.

2nd stop: Aquaria KLCC

From Dang Wangi LRT station we took train to KLCC where we visited Aquaria KLCC.

Before reaching Aquaria KLCC, we led them to the garden where they could have a view of the Petronas Twin Tower. They were like "すごい！すごい！すごい！"

They took quite some time to choose their souvenirs in Aquaria KLCC souvenir shop. Therefore me and Yoon Sin played around with the soft toys while waiting for them to get done.

Destination: Aquaria KLCC

Price: RM35 (Adult with MyKad) or RM30 (Adult with student card)

Comment: This was my 2nd visit and I thought 1st time was better. But it's worth visiting at least once.

Then, it was dinner time! Other groups headed to Pavilion for Carl's Junior and we thought we should bring them there for dinner because they have nothing like that in Japan. Plus, we were warned that they were only allowed to eat fast food like McD, KFC etc or dine in food courts. You know, they have different type of stomachs haha. After that we headed back to Seri Pacific Hotel where we bid our goodbyes and exchanged contacts.

For the 2nd group of students, I took them to Merdeka Square, Central Market, Chinatown and Times Square.

We set out around 9am from Legend Hotel and were required to reach the hotel at 1.30pm. Guess it was because that was their last day in Malaysia and had to go back later on that day.

For this school, things were more formal. Before finding our group members, there was an official ceremony to greet us and they have representative who gave a welcoming speech in English. Then only we met our group of students, introduced ourselves and started our journey.

Not much pictures were taken for this trip. Too lazy for it. However, through this program I realized that there are many places that we can reach simply by walking because the distances between the destinations are short. From example, from Merdeka Square to Central Market. And from Central Market to Chinatown.

This black shirt guy brought along his electronic jisho. When we had communication problem, he would type in his dictionary to obtain English translation. However I could not type in his jisho for Japanese translation because we could not find the "spacebar" button. I guess he has never typed English sentences in his jisho before XD

So there goes my experience leading 2 different groups of Japanese students from different high schools. There should not be a 3rd time for me I think because from now on, I shall not be working any part time job anymore as I want to concentrate in my FYP. If not I have the possibility of not be able to graduate. *sigh*

Happy Chinese New Year 2011!

Everybody, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Muahaha, so excited and happy now. It is a brand new year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Keong Hi Huat Cai! Ang pow lai lai lai!!!

My god! Now my neighbourhood is full of the fire cracker noise. Especially the red type! Noisy noisy noisy. But very xin jia feel haha.

I had a fabulous reunion dinner with my lovely family just now. Although every year we get to gather for dinner for numerous times, but gathering for reunion dinner seems more meaningful. The feeling is just so different from the normal gatherings :)

Ah... I really love reunion dinner!

But too bad, from this year onwards no more steamboats for reunion dinner. Last time we used to take turns whereby each family would host the reunion dinner, breakfast and lunch for the 1st day of CNY by preparing steamboat for the entire Leow family.

But I guess they are getting older each year, and preparing for the whole family is actually quite a tiring job, especially when children like me do not help around much haha. So after like 10 years, this year they decided to call it off and just go to restaurant.

Not bad. Easier job. No marketing needed. No preparation of food, soup, bowls, chopsticks etc. No washing needed.

What we need to do is just to get dressed nicely and reach the restaurant punctually XD

But still, I prefer steamboat!

呵呵，老实说这一届的星光我没什么看。但是当我到家开电视听到她唱“回家”的时候，我超感动的。因为，她真的唱得很棒！而且啊，她是星光历届以来首次连续拿下四次30分满分的选手哦！很赞！！

Captured this picture yesterday night.

It was my darling's birthday, and I was glad that I was able to come back in time for her. Nothing luxurious, it was more like a chilling session with her and the rest of the gang.

She turned 23 years old yesterday, though she insisted that she was still in her sweet 16 :)

23 is a huge number, because when I knew her we were only 13 years old. 10 years have passed, not only we have graduated from high school, she has even graduated from college and is now a working lady.

This 10 years of friendship means a lot to me. I shared my deepest secrets with her, walked through many memorable moments together and watched her blossomed into a pretty young lady. For sure she will be happy like mad if she sees this compliment XD

Friendship of 16 years

She's a friend of mine for 16 years and her name is Ming Lee.

We've been in the same class ever since Standard 1 in primary school till we graduated from high school. Was my class monitor for a few times who always took great care of all our fellow classmates. As a friend, she was always like a big sister, who is always gentle and caring towards her friends.

All the best to you, dear! We will miss you when you go back to the place where 'birds do not lay eggs' XD

1st Post in 2011

You know, 2011 is going to be such a huge year for me that I am getting nervous every single day when I think about my future.

2011 seemed so impossible to reach when I first entered uni 4 1/2 years ago. I was always like, "Aiya my course will only end in May 2011, now only 2006... still so long!"

Have always looked forward to 2011, hoping that time could run faster so I can graduate faster. But when the time came, I chickened out. I actually wanna stay on longer, hoping that this time, time can run slower.

I hope that after I complete the missions in my mind by probably early next year, I can see a clear path ahead of me.

To work? To continue with Masters? Take a double degree? Or do something extraordinary than my friends?

I would like to take the "extraordinary" option :)

It's All About Orangey Yellow

Ok so I guess most of you know that the there was no water supply for most places in Penang on Tuesday. And it so happened that my housing area was one of those in the list. Hence my mum suggested that we should go out station for a day trip, to "run away" from the "no water hassle". :)

So off we went to Taiping, since we have not been there for ages. Without doing any research through the internet the night before, we went with just a few simple maps provided by magazines.

Quite a spontaneous trip I would say, so everything was spontaneous. As we failed to find the place my uncle recommended for lunch, we ended up eating at this hawker centre at Jalan Panggung Wayang.

I took a walk in it, observed what most people were eating and realized most of them ordered "Fishball Char Kuey Teow". So, of course I follow them and ordered the same thing.

Nah, this is how it looked like.

Notice how oily is it? Gosh, I would not order again, though the taste was actually not bad. Very different from our Penang Char Kuey Teow :)

After that we drove around Taiping town, saw the Taiping Zoo, Jail and Lake Garden. Nothing much to see actually, so we headed back to Bukit Merah.

Though it was just a simple trip, we were very satisfied because it has been some time since we went for a trip together. Missed the family trip in June this year due to my stupid final exams.

Just as we thought we came back at the right timing where water supply was supposed to be available, we were wrong. It was stated that there would be no water supply from 7am to 7pm, mana tau for my place, water only came back the next morning. But stopped around 11am something, then water came back but the pressure was worse than your pee. Until this morning only then the water supply was normal.

Thank god. Because I want to bath with shower and wash my dirty hair!

Hmm I know I am a bit late wishing everyone but I guess it's alright because till today I am still eating 汤圆"tang yuan" or "tong yun".

It's called the Hakka Dou Sha Tang Yuan "客家豆沙汤圆". That's why the soup is dark brown colour.

So what is the type of 汤圆 that you are eating? Hokkien, Teochew, Canto, Hakka or... you do not know? :)

Hello peeps!

Finally finished working for this holiday. PIKOM Digital Lifestyle Expo was the last fair I worked before coming back Penang this morning. No more work (except script writing) for the remaining sem break because I need to really concentrate in my FYP. My supervisor's gonna kill me soon if I still have not much progress to report. *sigh*

Anyway, anyone of you went to Genting recently? The weekend before the fair I went up there to meet my family and relatives. We attended a relative's wedding dinner in Kuantan so stayed overnight in Genting for 2 nights.

For this Christmas, the decorations in Genting are made of recyclable materials such as cardboards, discs, mineral water bottles and water dispensers. Really love the deco. Awesome!

Look at this 45-foot Christmas Tree. It is made of 1074 pieces of 5 gallon water dispensers sponsored by Spritzer. Very nice :)

We cousins did crazy snapshots with the spotlights. Look at the most right picture and look closely at my cousin's expression. I totally love it haha.

This is the only small kid who still played the "ting ting" machine. Up until today I still do not get it why he loves the game so much. All he got were the cards, which were quite useless. But he played and sweated like hell, and spent more than 100 bucks just for this game. Haih, kids nowadays.....

We even watched an amazing magic show with many other awesome performances by Glitz at The Pavilion.

3 families, 12 of us attended a relative's wedding dinner on Saturday in Kuantan.

That bridegroom is my uncle (but seems more like a brother to me), my dad's cousin, my grandma's sister's son. Alright I know it's confusing, but yea I called him uncle.

Met relatives from other parts of Malaysia as well as overseas. All of them came back for this dinner. Very happy to meet them up.

So next Chinese New Year, I can get an extra ang pow from this "uncle" :)

怎么了？

最近的我，怪怪的。没有发生什么特别的事情，可是就是觉得很不对劲。

我总是告诉身边的朋友，我是一个很入戏，很入书的人。只要是悲伤或感动的画面出现，泪水就会在我的眼眶打滚，甚至流了下来。

可是最近觉得自己的泪水越来越不听话。明明故事的情节没有很悲伤也没有很感动，但是情绪起伏很大，而且泪水一直流下。莫名其妙。

也因为这样，最近看戏或小说时总是会把一包纸巾放在桌上，以免室友经过时误以为我怎么啦。想想看，其中一本小说已是读了第二遍。但是，流泪的情况好像变得很严重（第一次读的时候或许都没有哭）。

到底，我的神经线是怎么了？断了？乱了？

唉，也不只是这个问题。还有很多很奇怪的事情。

Stop Child Abuse

Is it abuse if there is NO violence?

A very good question by UNICEF Malaysia.

Often we relate child abuse to physical violence like constant beatings that cause bruises, severe injuries or even deaths. However the fact is, besides physical child abuse, actions such as emotional child abuse, sexual child abuse and even child neglect are considered as part of child abuse.

For me, I do not wish to see any form of child abuse to happen again. No matter which type it is, they must ALL BE STOPPED!

STOP STOP STOP!!

According to Conventions on the Rights of the Child (CRC), anyone under 18 years old is considered as "children". Children at anywhere are entitled to basic human rights, just like anyone else living on this planet. They should be loved, cared and respected as individuals with rights regardless of age, gender and ethnicity.

Did you know that an average of 7 children in Malaysia suffered abuse everyday in 2008, and these are only reported cases. Many more experience abuse in silence and behind closed doors.
Abuse robs a child of their dignity. It can also leave invisible scars on children, their families and society that last lifetimes, if not generations.

As you can see, the number of child abuse cases have increased to an alarming state. If no actions are taken to stop these incidents, child abuse may affect children, families and society for GENERATIONS.

It is really not easy to get over child abuse. As we know, many adults who suffered from child abuse remain deeply affected disturbed in adult life. If no proper care and support are given to them to overcome their trauma, they may end up harming their own children, repeating the tragedy of his/her own abused childhood life. This cycle may continue on for generations which causes more harm to more people.

Therefore if you ever witness any of child abuse cases or know any of them happening, please be kind enough to report to the authorities. Call 15999 to report child abuse.

If not, you can be like me. Spread the word about movement to stop child abuse and create awareness among the public.

Always remember:

A child is not responsible for the abuse that he/she suffers.

The responsibility lies solely with the offender. All children should be treated equally like any other human. They are the future leaders of our country and our world. They should be allowed to live full and healthy lives, just like us.

If you think child abuse is a very horrible thing to commit and should be stopped, you can always create awareness and spread a word about it by writing up a post titled "Stop Child Abuse". Not only you are doing your part to stop this cruel act, you may even stand a chance to win a Sony Cybershot W190.

Did a bit of household chores and got ready for lunch. Pampered my prince charming with one of our favourite dining place. Nothing luxurious, yet very contented ♥

Then I spent the entire afternoon reading a novel which I have bought few months ago. Always love to spend some time by myself, running away from this busy world and engaged in a world of my own.

I am such an easily satisfied person. How I wish every of my Saturday can be like this.

But I know it is impossible. Therefore I cherish and savour every minute of today's time.

You say, what should I do?

I have always been wondering, what will my life be after graduation?

To be frank, I have no idea at all.

Or at least, no concrete plans except for work and travel program.

You can say I am lazy, as I do not wish to work after I graduate. Not so fast. I told my parents I want to further my studies after the work and travel program. I want to see the world, gain new exposure and experience in places other than Malaysia.

But if I were to further my studies, what should I study? Stick back to my field? Change to Business courses? Or go into something like psychology or forensic science? *sigh*

I have gave serious consideration about venturing in Computer Graphic, Imaging and Vision (CGIV) in South Korea if my application is successful. But.... I am a bit worried.

Is that suitable for me? Because I am not really interested in what I am doing now, but if I were to really go back into Engineering field, this will be my only and final choice. Serious.

I am really interested in it, but to be able to do well is another thing. I know I am worrying way too early because I have not even submitted my application and to be accepted is another thing. It depends on the professor whether he wants me or not. But based on my results, I kinda doubt la.

Haih. I spent 4 and a half years in uni yet I am still unsure about my future.

What should I do????

6th Grade Graduation @ 平民小学, Batu Pahat

Tadaa~ That's me with Jun Jun, holding a graduation bear bear. It was a present to one of the kids.

Well, it was a spontaneous decision to attend this graduation ceremony. At first I have decided not to go because I had to work on Sunday till 9pm at Mid Valley. And the graduation was on Monday morning. How to go?

Then around 8pm on Sunday, suddenly I was informed that a friend will be driving down around 9pm something to Batu Pahat. Of course I was overjoyed because at least I was still left with a slight chance that I could tumpang that friend's car down.

After making several phone calls, finally I reached my friend. This super kind friend was willing to wait for me to finish work, and even agreed to fetch me from Yoon Sin's house in Kepong after I showered and packed my stuffs. (I stayed at Yoon Sin's house since Thursday night so that we both could go work more conveniently) The offer was so good, why not accept it, right? XD

So in the end, I made it to attend my yi di's (谊弟) graduation. Thank god~!

Reached around 2am and straight away went up to MC's room to sleep. Too tired because worked like mad for the entire day.

Anyway, here are the pictures of the graduation. Hope that these kids can do well in their upcoming high school days. Actually I am kinda worried about my yi di and yi mei. Really hope they can do fine.

Basically the program flow of the ceremony was simple. Quite glad that when we reached it was already the end of speeches. Muahaha you know how we hate speeches. Long and boring.

So as usual, the program flow included prize giving ceremony.

And can you see the 2 tall girls at the row behind? I tell you, those 2 are girls are super smart and clever. When I flipped through the program flow book, their names appeared in almost all competitions held in school. Superb!

Then erm, there was a short break for those kids to change and make up while the teachers and parents had their morning tea break.

All of them, including every boy wanted to wear make up. I could not believe it when the guys came and asked for make up. *toink*

As you can see, what I could help them with was just putting on lipstick. The rest, I do not think I can handle it haha.

So after making a mess in the make up room, the program continued with performances by the students. There was cultural dance.

That is my yi di's sister, also my lil sister. So cute! Haha before the choir started singing, she went solo a bit. Geng!

And then, it was time for photo taking session!

This is the group of us who attended the kids' graduation. The rest were working and could not make it. People, finally our lil brother and sister have graduated :)

To end this short trip, MC brought us to Soon Lai in Batu Pahat town for "kuay chap".

I swear it tasted nicer than the famous one in Penang. Maybe because the food was normal without any animal intestines. I hate those yucky stuffs.

Teen Fest 2K10 @ Mid Valley

Anyone of you heard of Teen Fest 2K10 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre?

Well, you probably don't know what it is, do you? Haha if it was not because I replaced my friend in a part time job in this fair, I would not even know about it either.

It was supposed to be a sort of festival for teenagers, full of online gaming booths with pretty showgirls and other chapalang booths selling stuffs ranging from clothes to laptops and cameras.

But based on my observations within these 3 days, nah, the crowds were mostly adults and families. Or you know, maybe those teenagers were there just for online gaming at another hall or were there just for Eken Cheng,郑伊健.

Anyway, my work required me to wear apple green T-shirt given by the company. Outside there are other competitors whose significant colours are yellow, purple and blue.

So, what was my job?

My yi di's (谊弟) graduation @ Batu Pahat

Seeing those kids going up the stage to receive their graduation scrolls made me think back the time when I was still 12 years old, just like them.

After 10 years, here I am as an Engineering undergraduate studying in UTAR. At that time, I have huge dreams. I wanted to further my studies in overseas. I told myself when I grew up I must be an artist because I was good in it. And if possible, I would like to tour around the world.

That were MY PLANS when I graduated from primary school and entered high school.

However after 5 years, I stopped drawing and eventually gave up the idea of being an artist. Due to some reasons and slight interest, I ventured into Engineering. And because I know that studying overseas needs a large amount of money, so I did not persist in completing my plans.

Thoughts and decisions changed as time passed by and we grew up.

I wonder, what those kids have in mind for their future? Will those plans go accordingly when they grow up?

Did not do anything today except watching movie. Episode by episode. Ah, the feeling of having time by myself for the entire day was very precious. Though I have homework that must be passed up on Thursday, I guess I should just leave it aside first and use today to relax myself.

After all, last week I was goddamn busy. Not even had time to really rest. Too preoccupied with jobs.

While I was facebook-ing and blog reading just now, suddenly miss my friends a lot especially those who are in overseas. I wonder, when only I can meet all of them, together?

A pair of flats with a box of plasters

Life is sometimes like a pair of flats with a box of plasters.

No matter how well we know that something, someone or some place is not suitable for us, yet we still want to put our heads in it, thinking that maybe someday we can manage to do well. In the end, we got hurt and bruised everywhere, mentally and physically. At that time we still continue on, but realize that we need to shield ourselves from being hurt further.

Well, I will not say that continue on is stupid because who knows, someday we may really be successful. Like the flats, they may hurt at the very beginning. But as you wear them, they become softer and softer. When the time comes, you can wear them as much as you like without needing plasters anymore because the flats can no longer hurt you.

Therefore I always believe that hardships may be suffering at first, but they can always make us stronger and tougher.

Have faith in yourself and do not give up!

Say "I LOVE Kaspersky" and get one free popcorn.

Haha because of that, I learned from Boon Cheng how to cook popcorn when I was working in Kaspersky Security Campaign in Low Yat. Ever since I was kid I have always wondered how corn can pop. And now I know, corn can really pop! It can even hurt you if you're careless!

For the entire week, I played different roles. Cooked popcorn, explained to customers how to play wind chamber, helped customers with redemption and forms filling and lastly, helped in doing sales. I was placed under Marketing department, so sales was not my main role.

Yea I know there is nothing special about it, but that was the 1st time I saw Dato' Lee Chong Wei real in person but not in badminton court. He and Jackie Chan are both spokespersons for Kaspersky Anti-Virus. How I wish it was Jackie Chan who came hehe =)

This fair made me realize that seriously there are all sorts of people, especially customers in this world. Types that you do not believe will exist actually exist. But one the nicest person I have met was my little leader - Mr. Sunny! I bet everyone loves him.

No wonder he is from Penang. Because Penangites are very friendly, just like me! =)

My Deepavali Holiday in Penang

First of all I would like to apologize for not updating as frequently as I should. Well, been very busy working during the previous week. Then when I had time to rest, I started to get lazy hehe.

Anyway, I came back Penang on Thursday evening. It was a very sudden decision because initially I wanted to work during the weekend in PC Expo. But in the end friends became my priority so I came back =) My BFFs all are here so I guess I should just sacrifice and come back. Kesian Kuak alone in KL. Haha

Well before I continue, I would like to wish Jhu darling a very Happy Birthday again! Leng Lui Jhu, wish you will have a good year ahead ya =)

Now it is Yee Yee's turn.

Ah Yee!!! Thank you so much for taking the trouble to fetch me. Kamsia kamsia. You are really the best hehe. Though you "粗话连篇” during the journey, I did not mind. Love you!! *mwah*

Well if it's not because of Ah Yee, I would not have been able to meet up with the rest for dinner, yum cha and overnight. Though we were very late for dinner, but I hope you guys were not mad at us. She has really tried her best to be as early as possible. After we had Nyonya food for dinner, we headed to Zenzi Bar for girls' talk session. Erm, not entirely girls' talk la, because Kenny was there as well. Unless he wants to be jimui with us haha.

Not an alcoholic night for us because we do not really drink, except Vivi and Ah Yee. So it was good because no rashes for me, we reached home safely and everyone was conscious, just slightly sleepy.

As usual, Fernie talked about her recent funny incidents. This time it is about her slip in my Setapak house toilet. Kinda felt bad about that incident because initially she just wanted to borrow my toilet for some business when she went to my house. Who knows in the end she was trapped in it because the lock became loose and while we were trying to break the knob off, she accidentally slipped and hurt her back. I felt bad because I think I should have warned her about the lousy door lock of my house. Sorry fernie..... but you had fun in X-ray, didn't you? =)

Slightly before 11pm, when the crowd started to pack the entire place of UPR, we left the place. Haha driver was tired and we were not really into this kind of night life. All except Vivi. So she stayed back for second round with her friends while we headed towards Ah Yee's house to overnight.

As usual Yee's parents and sister always treat us nicely. Her da jie treated us breakfast. Then for lunch we had delicious home cooked porridge with thirst quenching watermelon juice. Really nice of them. Thank you!

Met up with Vivi around evening at Winter Warmers and had high tea with the girls and their bf's.

Chatted casually again while waiting for food. Mostly were craps. Quite in a hurry because we reached late and had to leave early. But still, we made it to meet up for the last time before we parted and back to KL. Gonna miss the girls. Really.

A New Semester for Me

Though as much as I have enjoyed throughout my birthday week with all the celebrations and surprises, I am stressed with work.

I should not be complaining actually because I accepted this part time job offer willingly. Or more precisely, I myself went to apply for the job lol.

Not a tough one actually, writing script only ma. Some more it's for teaching primary school kids.

LOL that was my 1st thought. I really thought it should not be a problem because English is not a problem for me.

Mana tau... cracking my brains for the right words to use so that the kids will understand is actually a tough task for me T________T

My motivation to keep going is to polish my writing skills and grammar knowledge. And most importantly is the pay. Not high but at least got side income.

Will be taking a subject in this short semester for 7 weeks. This will be my 1st and last time taking short semester in my degree course.

But I still plan to work part time, wanna earn a lot a lot a lot of money. Plus I still need to continue my damn FYP.

Gonna be a busy semester for me, and a contented one as well XD

Soba Yoshi Japanese Restaurant, Krystal Point

For today's dinner, my dad brought us to Soba Yoshi Japanese Restaurant at Krystal Point, Penang.

This was my 1st visit to this Japanese restaurant. Well, my dad's treating us dinner for my birthday so I thought of dining Japanese food as I love Jap food a lot =) So my dad recommended this restaurant. Guess he brought his clients there before and thought the food was not bad.

Like those reviewes I found online after dining, this restaurant indeed has the traditional Japanese atmosphere. Plus, there are magazines and books in Japanese language.

According to my dad, normally businessmen will bring clients to this restaurant to dine. Maybe because now it is still the "Nine Emperor Gods Festival", there were not many customers when we arrived. Hence, our food was served quite fast =)

As we always make it a habit not to overeat especially dinner, we shared 2 rice sets among us. Mum and I ordered a set of unagi rice with mushroom...

that comes with a bowl of noodles, miso soup and a plate of fruits.

This rice set was not bad. We loved it.

As for my dad, he ordered a fish rice set. I am not sure what is the name of the fist, but it is his favourite.

And we ordered a side order - bitter gourd.

I was very very in love with this dish. Simply delicious! Those who like bitter gourd which is not too bitter, this is the one. Tasted nice with the eggs =)

I wonder if next year I will still get to have birthday dinner with them?

Overall, I quite like this restaurant. At least, it is a change for me as I normally dine in Japanese restaurants that have conveyor belts like Sushi Zanmai.

Ok, so eventually it was proven that my Project 365 did not go as I wanted, which was supposed to be updated everyday with everyday's shot. So I shall change it to my way to suit me better, as in I shall update this project if I have any shot to be uploaded =)

Anyway back to this photo. What do you think of it?

Well it may just be an ordinary beach photo but it is actually the Black Sand Beach in Langkawi. It was taken when I went Langkawi with my TOU gang. This is the 1st photo I tried editing with PhotoScape which I tried using few days ago.

Well not much to be said, but it contains memories and conversations we had on that beach.

You know, one of my bestie shouted from above when I was on the beach:

"Sherril, 我看不到你了啦！因为你跟黑沙滩一样黑！"

Translation: "Sherril, I cannot see you because you are as black as the black sand beach!"

Great.

At least I was not darker than the sand! (secret joke shared among TOU)
